Ensure employees are aware and follow the information Security Rules and data security measures in order to protect the company information / intellectual properties. Day- to-day operations: Ensure all core activities are completed as per Project requirements liaising with various Departments, Project Team, Clients, regulatory bodies, vendors and Subcontractors Ensure compliance in Mechanical Completion, preservation Pre-commissioning, commissioning and warranty related documentations. Identification of temporaries and commissioning spares, prepare pre-commissioning and commissioning procedures. Co-ordinate with MC team to ensure the readiness of any system for the commissioning. Prepare progress reports and submit to Department Manager. Controlling, Monitoring and closing of commissioning punch lists and reporting Ensure project manhour consumption is monitored, controlled and achieved project completion within budget and schedule. Prepare Commissioning procedures, documentation and dossiers Schedule, organise and manage Sea Trial/ Endurance/jacking Trials as appropriate Liaise with Client, Classification Societies, Vendors and Subcontractors as required Develop Commissioning Plan and schedules in line with Project Plan in consultation project planner Conduct regular meetings with project team, vendors, trades and client for the close coordination of completion and commissioning activities Comply with all relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls to ensure a healthy and safe work environment Ensure strict compliance to Permit To Work System and Lock Out Tag Out System during commissioning activities. Safety, Quality & Environment: Responsible to comply with relevant safety, quality and environmental management policies, procedures and controls and to behave in a manner, which ensures that their actions or omissions, do not adversely affect the environment, health, safety and wellbeing of themselves, colleagues, contractors or members of the public. Meeting all responsibilities as outlined in the DDW OHSMS Participating in any training and safety initiatives implemented by the Company Complying with all Safety directives, and work instructions Immediately reporting any incident or potential hazard to their Supervisor or Safety Dept STOP the task if you feel yourself or others may be harmed Ensuring that all work is properly planned, communicated and executed safely Advise workers on potential Health and Safety hazards and there controls Conducting regular inspections of work areas to identify and eliminate hazardous conditions and practices Reporting to Line Manager / Safety Inspector promptly regarding incidents, hazards, unsafe plant, equipment or other safety concerns STOP any worker performing an unsafe act and reinforce positive attitude amongst work. Technical competencies: Education and knowledge in Instrumentation Engineering is essential. Good project management and contract administrative skills. Sound knowledge in testing and commissioning of Marine and Offshore, process and Drilling equipment. Knowledge and experience in Shipyard or a similar facility with fabrication/construction works for conversion and new buildings. Familiar with Norsok standards, class rules and ship building standards Able to do risk assessments and SIMOPS studies for construction and commissioning activities. Able to prepare commissioning procedures and work methodologies Knowledge and experience in project completion software such as WinPCS, PIMS, Procosys etc. Behavioural Competencies: Leading other People skills Team oriented Client / Customer Orientation Planning and Organizing Ownership / Accountability Mentoring & Coaching .
