Employee Relations Supervisor
The Employee Relations Head is primarilyresponsible for fostering a positive and engaged workplace by promoting employee welfare, addressing human and labor relations concerns, and enhancing overall well-being. This role involves resolving HR issues, guiding teams on company and government policies to ensure compliance, and collaborating with management to address work-related challenges. Additionally, the position leads the development of programs and initiatives related to whistleblowing, employee complaints, and case management, reinforcing a culture of transparency, accountability, and support. Main Duties and Responsibilities 1. Handle employee complaints, manage grievance procedures and facilitate counseling in conjunction with other stakeholders 2. Conduct initial counselling to team member(s) if necessary 3. Create and update employee relations policies and procedures as may be applicable 4. Execute compliance requirements mandated by Toyota Motor Philippines (TMP), DOLE and assist in their audits 5. Monitor and maintain the labor compliance tracking system of the team 6. Facilitate timely implementation of disciplinary action processes 7. Perform thorough investigation in every administrative case on-hand 8. Conduct investigation and resolve complex or critical employee relations issues in a timely and effective manner 9. Review submitted drafts of NTE and propose revisions to HR Manager as may be applicable and forward for review prior to finalization 10. Draft various notices subject for review of HR Manager 11. Ensure that the approval of VP for HR is sought prior to finalization of various notices (NTE, NAH, NOD) 12. Coordinate with the Discipline Committee on schedules of Admin Hearing 13. Facilitate the conduct of Administrative Hearing 14. Facilitate administrative hearing transcriptions 15. Draft Notice of Decision (NOD) 16. Review and follow through the execution of all disciplinary actions 17. Facilitate the end-to-end processing of disciplinary cases 18. Review submitted policy compliance grade required in the performance and competency evaluation 19. Draft and/or review HR related contracts, agreements and internal policies and ensure that they are in compliance with all statutory or legal requirements, in light of the actual up to date HR operational situation 20. Review existing internal policies and procedures and propose necessary changes to Management 21. Mediate/negotiate resolution of complaints with employee representatives 22. Collaborate with legal counsel and departments in the preparation for and participation in negotiation with employee and his/her legal counsel 23. Represent the Management on mandatory conferences such as in SENA, NLRC, Labor Arbiter, RTC, CA and SC with the assistance of Company’s internal / external counsels 24. Create programs and plans related to labor / case handling and employee violation 25.
