Embedded Software Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for an Embedded Software Engineer to join our dynamic team and play a key role in developing low-level firmware and embedded control systems for our advanced hardware platforms.

Requirements:

Main Responsibilities

- Develop real-time embedded firmware, HAL, BSP, bootloaders, and low-level peripheral drivers (I2C, SPI, UART, ADC, DAC, DMA, Timers). - Write robust C/C++ code targeting ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers in both bare-metal and RTOS environments (e.g., FreeRTOS, Zephyr). - Participate in hardware-software integration, board bring-up, and production debugging. - Collaborate closely with hardware design, system architecture, and photonics teams to define firmware requirements and interfaces. - Interpret electrical schematics, PCB layout files, and component datasheets to independently own and test firmware modules.

Qualifications & Requirements

- B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical discipline. - 10+ years of experience developing real-time embedded firmware, HAL, BSP, bootloaders, and low-level peripheral drivers. - Strong C/C++ programming background targeting ARM Cortex-M microcontrollers in both bare-metal and RTOS environments. - Deep understanding of RTOS fundamentals, including task scheduling, concurrency, inter-process communication (IPC), mutexes/semaphores, and interrupt handling (ISRs). - Ability to interpret electrical schematics, PCB layout files, and component datasheets. - Extensive experience in hardware-software integration, board bring-up, and production debugging.
