ELV Technician

We are looking for a skilled and motivated ELV / Home Automation Technician to carry out the installation, cabling, configuration, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ELV and smart building systems. The candidate will work closely with engineers, supervisors, contractors, and site teams to ensure high-quality installation and successful project completion.

Requirements

Diploma or technical qualification in Electrical, Electronics, Automation, or a related field is preferred.

Minimum 2–3 years of relevant experience in ELV / Home Automation.

Hands-on experience with CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, Intercom, and PA systems.

Basic knowledge of Smart Home / Building Automation systems.

Practical experience with KNX systems is an advantage.

KNX certification is preferred but not mandatory.

Ability to install, terminate, configure, test, and troubleshoot ELV devices and systems.

Familiarity with KNX programming tools and relevant ELV software is an advantage.

Ability to read and understand electrical drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical layouts.

Knowledge of Sharjah Police and SIRA requirements is an advantage.

Good communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.

Valid UAE Driving License is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities

Install and configure ELV and home automation systems according to project requirements.

Perform cable pulling, termination, labeling, and testing.

Install and test CCTV cameras, access control devices, intercoms, and PA systems.

Assist with KNX and smart home system installation, configuration, and programming.

Conduct system testing, troubleshooting, and commissioning under the guidance of the engineer or supervisor.

Identify and resolve installation faults and technical issues.

Coordinate with engineers and site teams to complete assigned tasks on schedule.

Follow approved drawings, safety procedures, and project quality standards.

Prepare installation and testing reports as required.
