ELV ENGINEER

Job Description

Gulfcraft Trading & Services W.L.L. is looking for an experienced and qualified ELV Engineer to join our team in Qatar. The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor's Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering and have relevant experience in Extra Low Voltage (ELV) systems and Facility Management operations.

The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising ELV systems, coordinating maintenance activities, monitoring technicians' performance, and ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of ELV systems within facility management environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of ELV systems.
• Monitor and maintain ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, structured cabling, fire alarm systems, public address systems, and other related low-voltage systems.
• Coordinate with technicians to ensure timely completion of maintenance and repair activities.
• Monitor and evaluate technicians' performance, productivity, and quality of work.
• Ensure proper implementation and monitoring of Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules.
• Utilize FM software such as CAFM, Yardi, CMMS, or equivalent platforms for maintenance management.
• Prepare, review, and maintain PPM reports, site reports, and maintenance documentation.
• Identify technical issues, coordinate troubleshooting, and ensure effective resolution of system faults.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and prepare regular operational reports.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety standards and maintenance procedures.

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics & Communication Engineering.
• Minimum 6 years of total professional experience .
• Minimum 4 years of Gulf experience .
• Previous experience in Facility Management (FM) is mandatory.
• Good technical knowledge of ELV systems and their operation and maintenance.
• Experience with FM software such as CAFM, Yardi, CMMS, or similar systems.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
• Detailed knowledge of facility management operations and ELV maintenance activities.
• Experience in technicians' performance evaluation, PPM monitoring, and site reporting.
• Strong technical, communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
