# ELV Draughtsman **IOSEC Technologies** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 6 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Job Summary: The ELV Draughtsman will be responsible for creating, updating, and maintaining detailed technical drawings, schematics, and system layouts for a wide range of ELV and security projects. You will work closely with project engineers, site supervisors, and MEP contractors to ensure all designs meet project specifications, UAE regulations, and strict SIRA compliance standards for security installations. Key Responsibilities: - Drafting & Design: Prepare comprehensive shop drawings, as-built drawings, and containment route layouts for all ELV systems (CCTV, Access Control, Structured Cabling, PA/BGM, SMATV, AV, and Intercoms). - SIRA Compliance: Design accurate SIRA-compliant CCTV layouts, including camera coverage mapping (Field of View/FOV calculations), blind spot analysis, and schematic single-line diagrams (SLD) required for SIRA portal approval. - Schematics & Wiring Diagrams: Create detailed block diagrams, system architecture schematics, rack elevation drawings, and point-to-point wiring diagrams for the technical team. - Coordination: Overlay ELV layouts onto architectural and MEP drawings to identify and resolve clashes. Coordinate with site engineers and main contractors to ensure seamless integration of ELV containment. - Site Verification: Conduct occasional site visits with project engineers to verify field conditions, take accurate measurements, and translate site modifications into final as-built drawings. - Documentation: Assist the engineering and estimation teams in extracting accurate quantities (Bill of Materials/BOM) directly from approved drawings. Manage and organize a digital library of all project drawings and revisions. Requirements & Qualifications: - Education: Degree or Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Drafting, or a related technical field. - Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of proven experience as a Draughtsman specifically within the ELV, Security, or Systems Integration industry in the UAE. - Software Proficiency: Expert-level proficiency in AutoCAD (2D). Experience with Revit (MEP/BIM), Visio, or specialized camera design software (e.g., JVSG) is a strong advantage. - Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of ELV system architectures, cabling standards, and containment routing. - Regulatory Awareness: Familiarity with Dubai SIRA regulations and drawing submission requirements is highly preferred. - Attention to Detail: Exceptional precision and accuracy in drafting, with the ability to manage multiple project revisions under tight deadlines. - Language: Fluent in English (written and spoken). - Availability: Locally available in the UAE and able to join [immediately / within 30 days].
