We are currently looking for a skilled and reliable Event Electrician to join our production team and ensure our temporary power systems run flawlessly.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced, hands-on Electrician specializing in temporary power distribution for live events, exhibitions, and entertainment productions. You will be responsible for the safe installation, operation, maintenance, and teardown of temporary electrical systems, generators, distribution boards, lighting rigs, and audio-visual power feeds.

The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, can troubleshoot complex electrical issues under pressure, and has a strong commitment to health and safety regulations on site.

Key Responsibilities

• Power Distribution & Setup: Install, test, and commission temporary power distribution systems, generators, cables, switchboards, and distribution boxes for indoor and outdoor events.
• Equipment Maintenance: Inspect, maintain, and repair all event electrical equipment, lighting systems, and cabling before and after events.
• On-Site Support: Monitor electrical loads during live events, promptly troubleshoot tripped breakers, power fluctuations, or equipment failures, and provide immediate solutions.
• Safety Compliance: Ensure all electrical installations strictly comply with local UAE safety regulations, venue guidelines, and industry best practices (e.g., proper grounding, cable protection, weatherproofing).
• Collaboration: Work closely with lighting designers, audio technicians, riggers, and project managers during load-in, show execution, and load-out.
• Inventory Management: Keep accurate logs of electrical equipment inventory, usage, and maintenance schedules.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of proven experience as an electrician, with at least 2 years specifically within the live events, exhibition, concert, or entertainment production industry.
• Certifications: Relevant electrical trade certification, diploma, or vocational training. Valid UAE electrician license/certification is a strong advantage.
• Technical Skills: Deep understanding of single-phase and three-phase power systems, load balancing, cable sizing, generator synchronization, and temporary distribution panels.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to work long hours on site, lift heavy equipment, and work in various weather conditions (indoor and outdoor venues).
• Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, calm under pressure, excellent communication skills, and a team-first attitude.
• Availability: Flexibility to work irregular hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays, depending on event schedules.
