Electrical Technician
A well-established company in Abu Dhabi providing erection, dismantling, and maintenance services for Tower Cranes, Passenger Hoists, and Cradle Systems. We are currently looking to hire experienced “Electrical Technicians” to join our team. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on experience in electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems related to lifting equipment. Roles & Responsibilities: Strong knowledge of AC & DC systems, PLC, VFD, Star & Delta connections , and power systems Fault finding and repair of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic systems, electrical panels, motors, limit switches, control systems, inverters and safety devices. Electrical panel board design, installation, maintenance, testing, and commissioning of tower cranes, passenger hoists, and cradle systems. Panel wiring of crane equipment and wiring of remote-control systems. Overhauling and maintenance of long travel, cross travel, and hoist motors & gearboxes. Electrical servicing and troubleshooting of lifting equipment Inspection of gearboxes and oil levels Measurement of long travel and cross travel wheels for wear. Inspection of load ropes for wear and proper tension Assist technicians in routine lubrication, cleaning, and tightening of crane components. Help in replacing ropes, bolts, pins, or minor parts under supervision. Provide manual handling support for spare parts, tools, and maintenance materials. Perform any other related duties as assigned by the Operation Manager. Skills & Competencies: Minimum 2 years of experience in the same field. Strong knowledge of electrical systems related to construction lifting equipment. Ability to read electrical drawings and schematics. Strong awareness of site safety requirements. Physically fit and able to work at height. Experience in UAE/GCC is an advantage. Physically fit and able to work at heights. Good communication and teamwork skills.
