# Electrical Supervisor **Venco Imtiaz Contracting Co** · Dubai · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 4 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Job Summary: Responsible for supervising and coordinating the daily activities of electrical site teams involved in installation, testing, and commissioning of all electrical systems within the project scope. This includes LV power distribution, lighting systems, earthing and lightning protection, and ELV systems. The role demands strong technical knowledge of electrical installations, hands-on site leadership, ensuring adherence to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: Supervise and lead the daily activities of electrical technicians, electricians, and helpers on site ensuring proper execution of all electrical installation works. Ensure installation compliance with IFC drawings, approved shop drawings, electrical specifications, and project quality standards. Coordinate execution of LV power systems including MDBs, SMDBs, DBs, cable trays, conduits, wiring, earthing, lightning protection, and lighting fixtures. Oversee installation and testing of ELV systems such as fire alarms, CCTV, access control, intercoms, and structured cabling networks. Monitor workforce productivity and manage allocation of tasks to optimize efficiency and meet project schedules. Conduct daily toolbox talks, enforce safety rules, and ensure all site electrical works comply with HSE standards and company policies. Identify and resolve technical issues or discrepancies on site related to electrical installations and escalate complex matters to the Electrical Project Engineer. Coordinate with site engineers and QA/QC teams to ensure inspections are performed and non-conformance reports (NCRs) are addressed promptly. Verify the quality and compliance of materials and equipment before installation. Ensure proper testing and commissioning procedures are followed and assist in documenting test results. Maintain accurate site records including work progress, manpower attendance, materials usage, and daily reports. Facilitate communication between site teams, subcontractors, and management to maintain smooth workflow. Ensure proper storage and handling of electrical materials on site to prevent damage or loss. Support training and mentoring of junior electricians and apprentices to improve team skills and safety awareness. Qualifications and Experience: Highschool certificate or Diploma. 10 or more years of hands-on electrical installation experience with at-least 6 years as a foreman on building construction sites in the UAE.
