# Electrical Site Engineer **Acme Services** · Jebel Ali · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 3 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Key Responsibilities · Execute and supervise electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting activities at project sites. · Read and interpret SLDs, schematic/control wiring diagrams, termination drawings, GA drawings, cable schedules, and interconnection drawings. · Carry out electrical testing including: · Insulation Resistance (IR) testing · High Voltage (HV) / dielectric testing · Continuity and earth resistance testing · Phase sequence and polarity checks · Cable testing and verification · Panel functional and interlock testing · Perform MCC panel testing and commissioning, including power and control circuits, motor feeders, protection devices, interlocks, and sequence testing. · Troubleshoot electrical control circuits, motor starters, protection systems, and panel-related faults. · Have hands-on experience in VFD programming, parameter setting, commissioning, and troubleshooting. · Have hands-on experience in soft starter programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting. · Experience with Woodward synchronizing/load-sharing controllers and/or DEIF controllers, including programming, configuration, synchronization, load sharing, and troubleshooting. · Carry out testing and commissioning of generator synchronization and control systems where applicable. · Perform preventive maintenance of electrical panels, MCCs, distribution boards, motor control systems, and associated electrical equipment. · Identify electrical faults systematically using drawings, test equipment, and diagnostic tools. · Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, vendors, and site teams during installation, testing, commissioning, and handover. · Prepare testing and commissioning reports, inspection requests, checklists, punch lists, and other project documentation. · Ensure all site activities are carried out in accordance with approved drawings, project specifications, applicable IEC standards, and HSE requirements. · Monitor site progress and coordinate with the project team to ensure timely completion of electrical activities. * Support FAT/SAT, pre-commissioning, commissioning, and final handover activities when required. Required Technical Skills · Strong knowledge of LV/MV electrical systems and industrial electrical installations. · Excellent ability in electrical drawing reading and interpretation. · Strong practical electrical troubleshooting and fault-finding skills. · Hands-on experience with HV testing and insulation resistance testing. · Hands-on experience in MCC testing and commissioning. · Practical knowledge of VFDs and soft starters, including programming and troubleshooting. · Hands-on experience with Woodward and/or DEIF synchronizing controllers. · Knowledge of generator synchronization, load sharing, protection, and control systems is an advantage. · Good understanding of electrical protection devices, contactors, overload relays, MCCBs/ACBs, control transformers, relays, timers, and interlocking circuits. · Knowledge of electrical panel preventive maintenance and troubleshooting. · Ability to use electrical test equipment such as megger/IR tester, multimeter, clamp meter, HV test equipment, and other commissioning instruments. · Ability to independently diagnose and rectify electrical control and power circuit faults. Education & Experience · Bachelor’s/Diploma in Electrical Engineering / Electrical & Electronics Engineering. · 5–10+ years of relevant industrial/project/site experience preferred. · Experience in industrial plants, oil & gas, power generation, EPC projects, or heavy industries is preferred. · Candidates with strong hands-on testing and commissioning experience will be given preference. · Ability to work independently at site. Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED5,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
