Key responsibilities - Lead delivery of electrical and ELV works on building projects — residential buildings and villas, schools, commercial and government buildings — on scope, cost, time, quality and safety. - Mobilise each project: review the contract or subcontract, scope, specifications and drawings; set up the team, execution plan, programme and budget. - Act as the main contact for clients, main contractors and consultants; chair progress meetings and handle escalations. - Manage engineers, supervisors and subcontractors; set manpower plans and track productivity. - Drive TAQA Distribution milestones end to end: LV drawing and load approvals, NOCs, inspections, supply activation and meter clearance. - Control commercials: monthly payment applications, variations, claims, cash flow, cost-to-complete and final accounts. - Plan procurement of long-lead equipment (LV panels, LV cables, light fittings and ELV head-end equipment) with the procurement team. - Enforce HSE on every site: permit-to-work, lock-out/tag-out, TAQA safety rules and safe excavation near live services. - Oversee testing and commissioning, snagging, as-built drawings, O&M manuals, handover and defects liability obligations. - Report progress, risks, cash flow and margin to management every week. Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. - 15+ years in electrical or MEP contracting on building projects, including 8+ years in the UAE and at least 5 years as Project Manager on buildings. - Proven delivery of building projects through TAQA Distribution (formerly ADDC/AADC) inspection and supply activation. - Strong command of the Abu Dhabi Electricity Wiring Regulations, TAQA Distribution standards and Civil Defence requirements. - Commercial skill in FIDIC-based contracts and subcontracts: variations, claims, payment certification and cost control. - Valid UAE driving licence. - Clear written and spoken English for reports, correspondence and client meetings. Preferred - PMP certification. - ADQCC-approved Electrical Engineer. - Building projects delivered for master developers and government entities in Abu Dhabi. Pay: AED10,000.00 - AED25,000.00 per month Work Location: In person
