In this energetic role, you will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage project schedules, and ensure all electrical systems are designed, installed, and maintained in strict compliance with industry standards and safety regulations. Duties - Lead the planning, execution, and closing of electrical projects, ensuring timely delivery within scope and budget. - Coordinate with clients, contractors, engineers, and vendors to align project objectives and facilitate seamless communication. - Review construction drawings, schematics, and technical specifications to ensure accuracy and compliance with electrical codes such as NEC (National Electrical Code) and NFPA 70 standards. - Oversee the permitting process during the permitting phase, ensuring all necessary approvals are obtained efficiently. - Manage project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to track progress and adjust timelines proactively. - Conduct construction site visits to monitor safety protocols, quality standards, and adherence to design specifications. - Review construction estimates using Construction estimating tools like HeavyBid; control costs through diligent cost management practices. - Supervise electrical blueprint reading and system design activities to ensure technical precision across all phases of project development. - Oversee contract management processes including scope of work, change orders, and project documentation via Prolog or equivalent systems. - Lead project team members by providing clear direction, resolving issues promptly, and fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement. Requirements - Proven experience managing large-scale electrical projects within the construction industry; strong background in electrical engineering or related field. - Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera P6, ProCore, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), and Bluebeam for document review. - Deep understanding of electrical systems design, schematics reading, construction drawing review, and electrical building codes including NEC regulations. - Familiarity with construction scheduling techniques and tools to coordinate multiple phases of complex projects effectively. - Knowledge of permitting processes involving local authorities during the permitting phase; experience navigating regulatory requirements for electrical installations. - Strong skills in cost management, project budgeting, contract administration, and managing project scope changes. - Excellent team leadership abilities with a focus on safety standards compliance (NFPA 70), quality assurance, and client satisfaction. - Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently through excellent time management skills; proactive problem-solving approach. - Construction site experience demonstrating a hands-on understanding of field operations alongside office-based project management responsibilities.
