Electrical Project Manager
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Project Manager to oversee construction projects from initiation to completion in our Commercial Division. This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage teams, coordinate project schedules, and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality projects within scope, budget, and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate will bring a proactive approach, exceptional leadership skills, and experience in construction management to drive project success and client satisfaction. Duties Lead the planning, execution, and closing of construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards Manage project budgets by monitoring costs, controlling expenditures, and implementing cost-saving measures while maintaining quality Oversee construction site activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards Coordinate with clients, contractors, architects, engineers, and suppliers to facilitate clear communication and resolve issues promptly Read and interpret construction plans and blueprints accurately to guide project execution Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, Civil 3D, and Google Drive tools for documentation, reporting, and project tracking Manage contracts and procurement processes to secure necessary resources and services for each project phase Supervise teams on-site and in-office to ensure effective collaboration and productivity in managing complex infrastructure projects- Will require daily travel to and from sites across Chicago and the surrounding suburbs Ensure all construction activities comply with local regulations and industry standards for safety and quality Manage schedule to account for deadlines, and weekly meetings in the office and onsite where required. Skills Experience with construction estimating, scheduling, cost management, and project coordination in commercial or infrastructure projects Knowledge of safety standards, blueprint reading, and contract management Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively within a fast-paced construction environment Excellent time management skills with a focus on meeting deadlines without compromising quality or safety standards Ability to oversee construction schedule coordination while managing multiple priorities simultaneously Clear and professional communication skills Willingness to learn and grow Familiarity with the Chicago area is a plus.
