Ensure compliance with marine industry standards, ASME codes, and classification society requirements (ABS, DNV, Lloyd’s Register). Prepare electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and instrumentation layouts using CAD tools. Conduct testing, troubleshooting, and calibration of shipboard electrical/instrument systems. Collaborate with shipyard teams, naval architects, and project managers to meet project milestones. Maintain documentation and ensure adherence to safety and quality standards. Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronics, or Instrumentation Engineering. Minimum 5 years’ experience in marine shipbuilding or offshore engineering projects. Strong knowledge of marine electrical standards (IEC 60092, IEEE marine standards) and ASME codes. Familiarity with classification society rules (ABS, DNV, Lloyd’s Register). Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD Electrical, E‑plan) and instrumentation tools. Hands‑on experience with installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of shipboard systems. Strong problem‑solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to work in shipyard environments. Willingness to travel and work offshore when required.
