The ideal candidate has strong experience in solar PV projects, project implementation, electrical design, site execution, testing and commissioning, and technical problem-solving. The candidate should also be capable of providing hands-on mentorship and setting technical standards for the team. Qualifications Must be a Registered Electrical Engineer (REE). At least 5 years of relevant experience in electrical engineering and project implementation. Proven experience in solar PV projects, including solar farm or utility-scale solar projects. Strong experience in electrical design, installation, testing, commissioning, and troubleshooting. Demonstrated ability to mentor, supervise, and provide technical guidance to Junior Electrical Engineers. Willing to travel and be deployed to project sites as required. Strong problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills. Duties and Responsibilities Provide technical leadership, guidance, and mentorship to the Electrical Engineering team. Represent the company in client meetings, technical presentations, site visits, and project discussions; understand client requirements and present appropriate electrical and solar solutions. Lead and oversee electrical engineering activities for construction and solar projects, from planning and design through installation, testing, commissioning, and turnover. Provide technical expertise in solar PV projects, including utility-scale/solar farm projects, PV system design, electrical layouts, equipment selection, installation, testing, and commissioning. Review and evaluate electrical designs, drawings, specifications, single-line diagrams, load schedules, calculations, shop drawings, technical submittals, and other engineering documents. Conduct site inspections and provide technical direction in resolving electrical issues, design conflicts, installation concerns, and other project-related problems. Monitor the quality and progress of electrical works and ensure proper implementation of approved plans, specifications, and engineering standards. Support quantity take-offs, cost estimates, procurement requirements, and technical evaluation of electrical materials and equipment. Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, consultants, contractors, suppliers, and other disciplines to ensure effective project execution. Develop standard engineering practices and provide technical recommendations to management on project requirements, engineering solutions, equipment, manpower, and other electrical concerns. Stay updated on relevant technologies, standards, and best practices in electrical engineering and renewable energy. Perform other related duties and responsibilities as may be assigned by management.
