Experience: Minimum 10 years, including at least 7 years of GCC site/construction experience Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our site team for buildings and infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will have strong hands‑on experience in supervising electrical works on site, coordinating with subcontractors, ensuring compliance with approved drawings and authority regulations, and supporting project delivery from mobilization to handover. Key Responsibilities Supervise and monitor all electrical works on site , including LV power distribution, lighting, emergency lighting, earthing & lightning protection, and ELV/low current systems (CCTV, access control, fire alarm, data, etc.). Ensure all installations comply with approved IFC drawings , project specifications, method statements, and relevant authority requirements. Coordinate daily with MEP subcontractors to ensure proper execution, sequencing of works, and adherence to the project schedule. Review and verify shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements submitted by subcontractors before forwarding for consultant approval. Conduct regular site inspections to check workmanship quality, safety compliance, and alignment with design intent. Identify and resolve technical issues on site , providing timely solutions to avoid delays or rework. Coordinate with civil, architectural, Interior and other MEP disciplines to ensure proper routing, clearances, and clash‑free installation. Follow up with outsourced MEP designers to ensure design clarifications, updated drawings, and technical responses are delivered on time. Support project managers in progress reporting, technical discussions, and client/consultant meetings. Verify quantities and support the preparation of as‑built drawings , O&M manuals, and handover documentation. Ensure compliance with safety, sustainability, and quality standards throughout all phases of construction. Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 10 years of experience in buildings and infrastructure projects, with at least 7 years in the GCC in a contractor/site role . Strong knowledge of electrical systems installation, testing, and commissioning, including LV distribution, lighting, ELV/low current systems, and infrastructure utilities. Ability to interpret design drawings, perform load checks, verify equipment sizing, and ensure installations meet authority requirements. Familiarity with GCC codes and regulations: DEWA, ADDC, SEC, Dubai Municipality, DCD, NFPA, IEC , etc. Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of Revit/BIM is an advantage. Strong communication, coordination, and problem‑solving skills. Ability to work independently, manage subcontractors, and meet project deadlines. Experience in villa compounds, building complexes, commercial, residential, or mixed‑use projects.
