Job Description Hujal Concretos S.A. is seeking a qualified and motivated Electrical Engineer to join our technical and operations team in Santiago, Chile. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the design, installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and improvement of electrical systems and equipment used in concrete production and precast manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have strong technical knowledge, practical problem-solving abilities, and an understanding of industrial electrical systems. Experience in manufacturing, construction, automation, or industrial environments is highly valued. Key Responsibilities Design, review, and maintain electrical systems for industrial facilities and production equipment. Monitor and troubleshoot electrical equipment, control systems, motors, and machinery. Develop preventive and corrective maintenance plans for electrical installations. Inspect electrical installations to ensure safety, reliability, and compliance with applicable standards. Coordinate electrical installation and maintenance activities with contractors and internal teams. Analyze equipment failures and implement appropriate corrective actions. Support the installation and commissioning of new electrical equipment and production systems. Prepare electrical diagrams, technical documentation, reports, and maintenance records. Identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency and reduce operational costs. Work with automation and control systems used in concrete and precast production. Ensure electrical work follows company safety procedures and Chilean electrical regulations. Collaborate with mechanical, production, maintenance, and engineering teams on improvement projects. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology , or a related field. Professional experience in electrical engineering, industrial maintenance, manufacturing, construction, or a similar environment. Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems, power distribution, motors, and control equipment. Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings. Knowledge of electrical safety practices and applicable Chilean standards and regulations. Experience with electrical testing, troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Good communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to prepare technical reports and maintain accurate documentation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and relevant engineering or electrical-design software. Ability to work safely in an industrial and manufacturing environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience in concrete production, precast manufacturing, construction, or industrial facilities . Knowledge of PLCs, industrial automation, instrumentation, and control systems. Familiarity with variable-frequency drives (VFDs), motor-control systems, and industrial panels. Experience with AutoCAD Electrical or similar engineering software. Knowledge of energy-efficiency systems and industrial power management. Experience coordinating contractors and electrical installation projects. Knowledge of preventive-maintenance and reliability-engineering practices.
