The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing electrical design, installation, testing, and commissioning across our ongoing infrastructure and building projects. You will ensure all electrical engineering activities are carried out safely, efficiently, and in strict compliance with Qatar local regulations and international standards. Key Responsibilities - Site Supervision & Management: Supervise and coordinate daily electrical installation works, site testing, and commissioning activities to ensure alignment with approved drawings and project specifications. - Design & Technical Review: Review and interpret shop drawings, single-line diagrams (SLDs), schematic layouts, and technical documentation. Provide technical guidance to resolve site engineering discrepancies. - Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all electrical installations strictly comply with Kahramaa , Qatar Civil Defence Department (QCDD) , and relevant international safety and engineering standards. - Quality Control: Conduct routine site quality inspections, manage material submittals, and handle work inspection requests (WIR) to guarantee top-tier execution. - Stakeholder Coordination: Collaborate closely with project managers, clients, consultants, and other engineering disciplines (Mechanical, Civil/Structural) to achieve project milestones seamlessly. - Reporting: Prepare comprehensive daily/weekly progress reports, technical specifications, and look-ahead schedules for project management review. Qualifications & Requirements - Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Degree must be attested for Qatar visa processing). - Experience: Minimum 5 years of solid experience working as an Electrical Engineer. - Regional Experience: Mandatory 5 years of experience within Qatar or the GCC region with a strong understanding of regional construction dynamics, climate challenges, and local authority guidelines. - Technical Skills: Proficiency in engineering software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit) and a strong command over Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) distribution networks. - Certifications: UPDA/MMUP registration (Grade A or B) or eligibility to obtain one immediately is highly preferred. Kahramaa license is a distinct advantage. - Transferable Visa: Candidates currently residing in Qatar with a transferable visa and a valid NOC (No Objection Certificate) are preferred.
