# Electrical Draughtsman **MAP Vision General Contracting L L C** · Abu Dhabi · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 6 дней назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role ELECTRICAL DRAUGHTSMAN Location: UAE Experience: 6–10 Years UAE Experience: Mandatory Employment Type: Full-Time Joining: Immediate Joiner Preferred Job Summary We are looking for an experienced Electrical Draughtsman with 6–10 years of experience , including strong UAE experience in electrical/MEP contracting and construction projects. The candidate should be proficient in AutoCAD and experienced in preparing electrical shop drawings, coordination drawings, and as-built drawings. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed electrical shop drawings, layout drawings, and as-built drawings . Prepare drawings for lighting, small power, power distribution, cable trays, cable routing, earthing, and ELV systems . Prepare and update Single Line Diagrams (SLD), panel schedules, load schedules, and schematic drawings . Coordinate electrical drawings with architectural, structural, mechanical, plumbing, and other MEP services . Revise drawings based on consultant comments, site conditions, IFC drawings, and engineering instructions . Prepare coordinated drawings and assist in resolving MEP clashes and site-related drawing issues . Prepare accurate as-built drawings based on actual site installation. Ensure drawings comply with project specifications, UAE authority requirements, and applicable standards . Maintain proper drawing revisions, drawing registers, and document control . Coordinate with Electrical Engineers, Site Engineers, Consultants, and project teams. Provide technical drafting support to the site team whenever required. Requirements 6–10 years of total experience as an Electrical Draughtsman. Minimum 5–6 years of UAE experience in electrical/MEP contracting or construction projects. Diploma / ITI / Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Drafting, or a related field . Strong proficiency in AutoCAD – Mandatory . Revit MEP / BIM / Navisworks knowledge will be an advantage. Strong knowledge of electrical shop drawings and MEP coordination. Ability to read and interpret IFC drawings, specifications, BOQ, and engineering drawings . Experience with lighting, power, ELV, cable tray, earthing, and electrical distribution systems . Good communication and coordination skills. Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred. Immediate joiners will be highly preferred.
