We are expanding our technical team and seeking an experienced Electrical Design & Execution Engineer with strong expertise in power systems, ELV design, and site execution for hotel and hospitality projects. Role Summary Responsible for the design, coordination, and execution of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, and ELV systems, for hotel and hospitality projects. The role requires hands-on experience in electrical design, preparation and review of technical drawings, site execution, and coordination with consultants, contractors, and project teams to ensure compliance with project specifications and authority requirements. Key Responsibilities Electrical Design — Prepare and review electrical designs for power distribution, lighting, small power, and electrical services for hotel projects. ELV Design — Design and coordinate ELV systems, including structured cabling, CCTV, access control, SMATV/IPTV, public address, and other low-voltage systems as required by the project. Power Systems — Develop and review electrical load schedules, single-line diagrams (SLDs), distribution board schedules, and power distribution layouts. Lighting Design — Prepare lighting layouts, emergency lighting, and coordination drawings in accordance with project requirements. Electrical Shop Drawings — Review and coordinate electrical shop drawings, power layouts, lighting layouts, and ELV drawings. Site Execution — Supervise and monitor electrical installation works, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards. ELV Installation & Coordination — Coordinate ELV installation, testing, and commissioning activities with specialist subcontractors and site teams. MEP Coordination — Coordinate with mechanical, architectural, and structural teams to identify and resolve clashes and ensure smooth project execution. Consultant Coordination — Coordinate with consultants and project stakeholders for drawing approvals, technical clarifications, inspections, and design revisions. Testing & Commissioning — Monitor testing, commissioning, and handover activities for electrical and ELV systems. Authority Compliance — Ensure electrical and ELV designs and installations comply with applicable authority regulations, project specifications, and approved standards. Documentation — Review technical submittals, material approvals, method statements, inspection requests, as-built drawings, and project documentation. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering. Minimum 8–10 years of relevant experience in electrical design and site execution. Mandatory experience in hotel and hospitality projects. Strong hands-on experience in both electrical design and execution . Proven experience in power distribution systems, lighting, and ELV design. Experience in preparing and reviewing SLDs, load schedules, electrical layouts, and shop drawings. Practical knowledge of ELV systems, including CCTV, access control, structured cabling, and other low-voltage systems. GCC experience is mandatory, preferably with experience in Dubai/UAE projects. Strong knowledge of electrical installation, testing, commissioning, and project coordination. Ability to coordinate effectively with consultants, subcontractors, MEP teams, and site personnel. Preferred Skills Knowledge of DEWA regulations and applicable UAE electrical standards . Experience with hotel electrical and ELV systems, including guest rooms, public areas, back-of-house areas, and service facilities. Proficiency in AutoCAD and familiarity with electrical design software. Knowledge of Revit MEP is an added advantage. Experience in consultant coordination, authority approvals, and project handover. Strong technical reporting, communication, and problem-solving skills.
