E-commerce Website Manager & SEO specialist

Role Summary

Owns the Samdo website end-to-end, from day-to-day upkeep to leading

the build of checkout and payment functionality that doesn't exist yet.

Works together with the Social Media Manager and the development

team to keep the site running smoothly and turn it into a place people

can actually buy from.

Key Responsibilities

●​Keep the website running well day-to-day — fixing issues,

publishing updates, and handling new pages or landing pages as

needed

●​Lead the setup of checkout and payment on the site, including

choosing the right payment gateway for the UAE/GCC market and

managing the integration with developers

●​Run a weekly check-in with the dev team to keep informed of fixes

and improvements moving forward

●​Regularly review the site to catch technical issues or points where

customers get stuck, especially anywhere near checkout

●​Improve key pages (homepage, product pages) to help more

visitors turn into buyers

●​Test new features, updates, and the checkout itself before it goes

live, across devices

●​Keep basic notes/documentation on how things are set up so it's

not all in one person's head

Requirements

●​E-commerce experience, ideally having built or launched a

checkout/payment system before

●​Familiarity with payment gateways used in the UAE/GCC and what

integrating one actually involves

●​Comfortable managing developers and assigning tasks, testing

their work, keeping things on track

●​Reasonably analytical, able to look at site data and know what it's

telling you

Ideal Candidate Traits

●​Genuinely fine building something from zero, not just maintaining

what already exists

●​Careful and detail-focused, especially anywhere payment or

security is involved

●​Reliable; shows up for the weekly rhythm with developers without

needing to be chased

●​Can explain what the business needs in a way developers can

actually act on

Pay: AED3,000.00 - AED4,000.00 per month
