Job Overview

Crystals & Coffee, home to 5280 Crystals and Bear Creek Crystals, is looking for a creative, energetic, and highly motivated E-Commerce & Social Media Content Manager to help expand our rapidly growing online presence.

We specialize in crystals, minerals, gemstones, unique collector specimens, and specialty retail products. With an extensive and diverse inventory, established retail locations, and a growing online community, we are looking for someone who can transform our products into engaging content and consistent online sales.

This position combines social media content creation, digital marketing, live selling, product photography, website management, and e-commerce operations.

The ideal candidate is comfortable both behind and in front of the camera, understands how to engage an online audience, and knows how to turn attention into actual sales.

We're not simply looking for someone to post pictures. We're looking for someone who can help build a recognizable brand, grow our online following, and create meaningful revenue through digital platforms.

Key ResponsibilitiesSocial Media Content Creation & Marketing

• Create engaging, high-quality content for Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and other relevant social media platforms.
• Film, edit, and publish Instagram Reels, TikTok videos, product showcases, educational content, and promotional campaigns.
• Develop creative strategies to increase followers, engagement, brand awareness, and online sales.
• Photograph and film crystals, minerals, gemstones, and unique collector pieces.
• Plan and execute content calendars, product launches, giveaways, and promotional events.
• Monitor social media trends, trending audio, hashtags, and engagement strategies.
• Respond professionally to social media comments, messages, and customer inquiries.
• Track social media performance and identify opportunities for growth.

Live Sales & Online Customer Engagement

• Host and manage engaging livestream shopping events through Whatnot, TikTok Live, and other applicable platforms.
• Present products confidently on camera while explaining their characteristics, origins, pricing, and unique features.
• Build relationships with livestream viewers and develop a loyal base of repeat customers.
• Prepare and organize merchandise for scheduled live selling events.
• Promote upcoming livestreams through social media and digital marketing.
• Utilize effective sales techniques, product bundling, and promotions to maximize livestream revenue.
• Assist with order processing, inventory tracking, and post-sale customer service.
• Monitor livestream sales performance and implement strategies to increase conversion rates and revenue.

E-Commerce & Website Management

• Create, upload, and maintain accurate product listings on our website and applicable online marketplaces.
• Photograph products and write informative, compelling descriptions highlighting important product details.
• Ensure accurate pricing, dimensions, weights, inventory counts, and product information.
• Maintain an organized and visually appealing online storefront.
• Manage product categories, collections, featured merchandise, and promotional listings.
• Coordinate new inventory arrivals with online product launches.
• Assist with online order fulfillment, shipping preparation, and customer communications.
• Identify opportunities to improve website performance, product presentation, and online conversion rates.

Sales Growth & Brand Development

• Work directly with ownership to develop strategies for expanding online sales and brand recognition.
• Identify new digital sales opportunities and potential partnerships with influencers, creators, and relevant communities.
• Help develop promotional campaigns for new inventory, special events, giveaways, and seasonal sales.
• Monitor online sales results, audience engagement, and overall digital marketing performance.
• Bring fresh ideas, creative initiative, and a results-oriented mindset to the business.
• Help establish Crystals & Coffee as a recognized destination for crystals, minerals, and collectible specimens both locally and nationwide.

Crystal & Mineral Knowledge

We're looking for someone who has a genuine interest in crystals, minerals, geology, gemstones, and the collector community.

While extensive knowledge of every specimen is not required, candidates should have a foundational understanding of common crystal types and a willingness to continuously learn.

The ideal applicant can confidently explain mineral characteristics, origins, formations, and other interesting details in a way that is educational, engaging, and authentic.

Knowledge of crystal-related metaphysical traditions and holistic wellness interests is also beneficial for communicating with our diverse customer base.

Prior experience working with crystals, minerals, gemstones, metaphysical products, or specialty collectibles is highly preferred but not mandatory.

Requirements

• Previous experience creating social media content for a business, brand, or personal platform.
• Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, and social media engagement strategies.
• Experience with photography, short-form video production, and editing applications such as CapCut, Canva, or similar software.
• Comfortable speaking confidently on camera and interacting with live audiences.
• Strong written communication skills for captions, promotional messaging, and product descriptions.
• Basic understanding of e-commerce platforms, online inventory management, and product listings.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong sales instincts and the ability to build authentic relationships with online customers.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and comfortable working independently while collaborating with ownership.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and consistently meet deadlines.
• Willingness to learn new platforms, technologies, and sales strategies.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Prior experience hosting livestream shopping events on Whatnot, TikTok Live, or similar platforms.
• Experience managing Shopify, WooCommerce, or comparable e-commerce websites.
• Proven success growing social media accounts or increasing online sales.
• Experience with digital advertising, analytics, and promotional campaign management.
• Product photography and video editing experience.
• Knowledge of crystals, minerals, gemstones, or collectible merchandise.
• Experience with online customer service, order fulfillment, and shipping.
