The role requires strong experience in handling a wide range of emergency and ICU cases, along with the ability to make timely clinical decisions and coordinate patient care. Qualifications MBBS, BAMS, or BHMS from a recognized institution. Minimum 5 years of experience in ICU and Emergency Room (ER) settings . Strong hands-on experience in managing a wide range of emergency and critical-care cases. Diploma or formal training in Emergency and Critical Care is preferred/required as per the hospital's eligibility criteria. Ability to independently assess and manage patients in ICU and emergency situations. Strong clinical judgment, emergency decision-making, communication, and patient-management skills. Responsibilities Assess and manage patients presenting with acute and emergency medical conditions. Independently handle emergency and critical-care cases within the scope of professional qualification and hospital protocols. Monitor critically ill patients and promptly identify changes in their clinical condition. Initiate appropriate emergency management and stabilize patients when required. Manage ICU patients and coordinate ongoing critical-care treatment. Perform clinical assessments, review investigations, and develop appropriate treatment plans. Respond promptly to medical emergencies and coordinate with specialists when escalation or referral is required. Perform or assist with emergency procedures as appropriate to qualifications and hospital protocols. Coordinate with nurses, consultants, technicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care. Maintain accurate patient records, clinical notes, treatment documentation, and emergency reports. Communicate appropriately with patients and attendants regarding treatment and clinical status. Follow hospital protocols, infection-control practices, patient-safety standards, and professional ethics. Demonstrate strong emergency response, critical-thinking, clinical decision-making, teamwork, and communication skills.
