Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Driver Processor to join our logistics and transportation team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for efficiently processing driver documentation, verifying compliance with company policies, and ensuring smooth coordination between drivers and internal departments. Your proactive approach will help maintain operational excellence, streamline driver onboarding, and uphold safety standards. Responsibilities Support the speed-to-hire of safe, reliable company Drivers while verifying they meet our hiring criteria Review of all background reports and review credentials for each Applicant ensuring all hiring criteria is met Verify prior employment to confirm each Applicant’s work history and experience satisfies company policy Schedule pre-employment drug screens and monitor results, follow up on any delayed test results Ensure all background reports are reviewed and on file before sending an application to Safety for final approval Hold Driver Recruiters responsible for providing all required information before sending an applicant to be processed Monitoring timely completion of all Safety Reviews (SR’s) after submitting for final hiring approval Communicating the results of SRs to the Recruiter, having them follow up with the applicant accordingly Confirms each new Driver’s orientation date with the Recruiter then makes all travel arrangements Verbally communicate travel plans with new Drivers and review instructions on the Welcome Letter Enter new Driver profiles in all required systems prior to first dispatch to ensure visibility across all departments Provide travel support for Operations, Maintenance and Safety during regular business hours for Drivers involved in breakdowns, truck recoveries, safety events, or other reasons Maintain mutually beneficial relationships with all travel-related vendor partners Manage expenses related to Driver and staff travel and Driver processing by use of a company credit card Assist with National Registry Verifications of new Driver Applicants Process Driver terminations, updating profiles in all related systems Updating Drivers’ change of status in all related systems (phone numbers, addresses, emails, etc.) Complete other assignments and assume new responsibilities assigned by management over time Experience 2+ years of experience in trucking operations, safety or CDL-A Driver support Proficient with Microsoft tools – Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint High level of experience with ATS systems, Tenstreet experience is ideal Excellent typing and data entry skills Technology Skills, proficient adapting to multiple proprietary and SAS technology platforms Skills Effective verbal and written communication Strong organizational and time management Problem-solving and critical thinking Customer service and interpersonal skills Proficiency with applicable software, systems, and technology Ability to analyze information and prepare accurate documentation Qualifications High school diploma, associate’s degree or higher preferred High level of experience with ATS systems, ideally with Tenstreet preferred FMCSA Safey and Compliance Experience in trucking operations preferred General HR related skills Industry certifications, awards or recognitions Join us as a Driver Processor and become an essential part of our team dedicated to operational excellence!
