The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate and detailed Electrical and Mechanical/MEP drawings for interior fit-out projects, ensuring that all drawings are coordinated with architectural, interior design, structural, and site requirements. The ideal candidate must have practical experience in AutoCAD and be capable of independently preparing, modifying, and coordinating both Electrical and Mechanical drawings for commercial, residential, hospitality, retail, and other interior fit-out projects. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed Electrical and Mechanical/MEP drawings using AutoCAD. Prepare drawings based on architectural, interior design, consultant, and engineering requirements. Prepare and update shop drawings, coordination drawings, as-built drawings, and installation drawings . Develop electrical layouts including: Lighting layouts Power socket and small power layouts Electrical containment/cable tray layouts DB and load schedule layouts Emergency lighting and exit signage Electrical single-line diagrams, where required ELV layouts, where applicable Develop mechanical/HVAC drawings including: HVAC ducting layouts Supply and return air layouts Fresh air and exhaust/ventilation layouts FCU/AHU and other HVAC equipment layouts Chilled water piping layouts Condensate drain layouts Mechanical equipment and services layouts Coordinate Electrical and Mechanical services with architectural and interior design drawings to avoid clashes and ensure proper space allocation. Review drawings and identify discrepancies, clashes, and coordination issues before submission. Incorporate comments and revisions from consultants, project managers, engineers, and site teams. Prepare drawings according to project specifications, approved design, and relevant authority/consultant requirements. Assist engineers and project teams in developing technical drawings and documentation. Conduct drawing revisions based on site conditions and provide updated as-built drawings . Coordinate with site supervisors and engineers to ensure drawings accurately reflect actual site requirements. Required Skills & Qualifications Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, MEP, Drafting, or a related field . Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in Electrical & Mechanical/MEP drafting, preferably within an interior design, fit-out, contracting company Strong and practical knowledge of AutoCAD . Must be able to independently prepare both Electrical and Mechanical/MEP drawings . Good understanding of HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and general MEP coordination principles. Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, interior design, and MEP drawings . Good understanding of fit-out construction and site installation requirements . Experience in coordinating MEP services within limited ceiling and service spaces. Knowledge of MEP coordination and clash avoidance . Good knowledge of drawing standards, symbols, scales, dimensions, and technical documentation. Ability to work with minimal supervision and meet project deadlines. Good attention to detail and accuracy. Good communication and coordination skills.
