# Draughtsman **Al Reef Project L.L.C.** · Abu Dhabi · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: 4 дня назад* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role We are seeking an experienced Draughtsman with strong knowledge of Infrastructure, utility networks, land surveying, and AutoCAD 2D/3D . The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate technical drawings, survey drawings, as-built drawings, shop drawings, and construction documentation based on engineering designs, site measurements, and survey data KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Prepare detailed AutoCAD 2D and 3D drawings for infrastructure, civil, utility, and construction projects. Prepare drawings for roads, pavements, kerbstones, interlock, drainage, storm-water and sewerage networks . Prepare water supply, irrigation, electrical, telecom, ducting and other utility network drawings . Prepare land survey drawings based on surveyor measurements, coordinates, levels and site data. Convert and process survey data, coordinates, levels, points and alignments into accurate CAD drawings. Prepare topographical, contour, setting-out and site layout drawings . Prepare road profiles, longitudinal sections, cross-sections and utility profiles where required. Prepare as-built drawings based on actual site conditions and completed works. Prepare shop drawings, construction drawings, detail drawings and sectional drawings as required. Review engineering drawings and ensure dimensions, levels, coordinates and technical details are correctly incorporated. Coordinate with Civil Engineers, Land Surveyors, Site Engineers, Supervisors and Project Managers to obtain necessary information for drawings. Update drawings according to site changes, engineer comments and approved revisions. Maintain proper drawing numbering, revision control, drawing registers and document records . Check drawings for accuracy, consistency, dimensions, scales, levels and coordination before submission. Prepare drawings for authority/client submissions and incorporate comments received from consultants or clients. Assist the survey team in preparing drawings from Total Station, GPS/GNSS and other survey data . Prepare excavation, trenching, utility alignment and underground service drawings. Identify and update existing and proposed utilities on drawings. Maintain organized CAD files and ensure all drawings are prepared according to company and project standards. Perform site visits when required to verify measurements, existing conditions and completed works. Carry out any other drafting and technical drawing duties assigned by management or the Project Engineer. REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE: Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in civil/infrastructure/utility drafting. Strong proficiency in AutoCAD 2D and 3D . Practical experience in land surveying and survey drafting . Experience with infrastructure and utility projects, including roads, drainage, storm water, sewerage and water networks. Good understanding of coordinates, levels, elevations, chainage, alignment, profiles and cross-sections . Ability to read and interpret civil, infrastructure, utility and survey drawings. Experience preparing as-built, shop, construction and survey drawings . Knowledge of CAD standards, layers, blocks, XREFs, dimensions, scales and plotting. Ability to work accurately under project deadlines and coordinate effectively with site and engineering teams. Knowledge of Civil 3D, GIS or other surveying/design software will be an advantage. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Diploma/Certificate in Civil Engineering, Drafting, Land Surveying, or a related technical field is preferred.
