The role works closely with engineers, architects, designers, equipment planners and other project stakeholders to translate design concepts, sketches, clinical requirements and technical specifications into detailed drawings using CAD and related drafting software. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed architectural and technical drawings, plans, layouts and schematics based on project specifications, sketches and design requirements. Develop and update 2D and 3D drawings and models using AutoCAD, Revit and other relevant CAD/drafting software. Ensure drawings comply with healthcare planning standards, building codes, project requirements and applicable drafting standards. Work closely with engineers, architects, equipment planners and designers to interpret and develop design concepts and technical requirements. Assist in refining layouts, configurations and design details based on project requirements. Incorporate design changes, comments and revisions into drawings while maintaining proper revision history and version control. Review and interpret architectural, mechanical, electrical and structural drawings and specifications. Extract dimensions, measurements and technical information from drawings and translate them into detailed plans, diagrams and models. Identify discrepancies, conflicts or inconsistencies between drawings, specifications and project requirements and coordinate for clarification. Conduct quality checks on drawings to ensure accuracy, consistency, completeness and compliance with required standards and specifications. Maintain proper records and documentation of drawings, revisions and design changes in accordance with document control requirements. Prepare and distribute drawing packages and documentation for client review, project stakeholders, construction use and regulatory authorities. Assist in preparing technical specifications, equipment layouts and other project-related design documentation. Participate in project meetings, design reviews and coordination sessions and provide updates on drafting-related matters. Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by the immediate superior or Management from time to time. Requirements Diploma or Certificate in Architectural Drafting, Architecture, Engineering, Building Technology, Computer-Aided Design (CAD) or a related technical discipline. Minimum 1–2 years of relevant working experience in drafting, technical drawing, architecture, engineering, construction or a related field. Proficient in AutoCAD and relevant CAD/drafting software. Knowledge of Revit or other 3D modelling software would be an added advantage. Relevant AutoCAD, Revit or other drafting/design software certification would be an added advantage. Able to interpret architectural, engineering and technical drawings, plans and specifications. Knowledge or experience in healthcare facility planning, hospital projects or medical equipment layouts would be an added advantage. Familiar with drawing revisions, version control and technical documentation management. Basic knowledge of applicable building codes, regulations and technical requirements. Strong attention to detail, accuracy and technical drawing skills. Good analytical, problem-solving, communication and coordination skills.
