The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing waterproofing shop drawings, construction drawings, technical details, method-related drawings, and as-built drawings . The candidate will work closely with project engineers, quantity surveyors, consultants, and site teams to ensure drawings are accurate, practical, and compliant with project requirements. Experience in waterproofing, building construction, basement waterproofing, roof waterproofing, wet areas, swimming pools, expansion joints, and protective coating systems will be highly preferred. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed waterproofing shop drawings using AutoCAD. Prepare construction drawings, detail drawings, sections, elevations, and typical details. Prepare waterproofing details for: Roofs and terraces Substructure Wet areas Swimming pools Water tanks Podiums and planter boxes Prepare as-built drawings based on actual site conditions. Review architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings and coordinate waterproofing requirements. Modify drawings according to consultant, client, engineer, and site comments. Coordinate with site engineers and supervisors to ensure drawings reflect actual installation requirements. Review project specifications and identify waterproofing requirements. Ensure all drawings are accurate and issued according to project schedules. Attend site visits when required to verify dimensions and existing conditions. Coordinate with project teams to resolve drawing discrepancies and technical issues. Maintain organized records of approved, revised, and as-built drawings. Perform other drafting and technical documentation duties assigned by management. Requirements Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Architectural Drafting, Drafting Technology, or a related field . Minimum 2–5 years of relevant experience in construction drafting. Experience in waterproofing contracting or construction projects is highly preferred . Strong knowledge of AutoCAD 2D . Ability to read and understand architectural, structural, civil, and MEP drawings. Experience preparing shop drawings and as-built drawings . Good understanding of construction and waterproofing details. Knowledge of waterproofing systems and construction materials is an advantage. Good knowledge of MS Office, particularly Excel and Word. Ability to coordinate effectively with engineers, consultants, QS, and site teams. Strong attention to detail and technical accuracy. Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines. UAE/GCC construction experience is preferred. Candidates available to join immediately will be preferred.
