# Draftsman **RAAZ DESIGN** · Muscat · `On-site` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: вчера* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role Job Description — Draftsman Company: T urnkey fitout company Location: Muscat, Oman Reports to: Operation Manager Employment type: Full-time, on-site Role overview Translate approved design concepts into accurate, buildable technical drawings. You will prepare 2D working drawings, shop drawings and detailing for turnkey fitout projects, working closely with the design and site teams to keep drawings aligned through revisions and site execution. Key responsibilities Prepare 2D working drawings from approved concepts: layouts, elevations, sections, ceiling and flooring plans, and joinery/furniture details Produce GFC (Good for Construction) drawings and shop drawings for site and workshop use Update drawings through design revisions, site changes and RFIs, keeping a clear revision log Coordinate drawing details with MEP, civil and joinery requirements to avoid clashes Prepare finish schedules, door/window schedules and material call-outs as needed Assist designers with 3D visualisation or renders where required Check drawings against site measurements and as-built conditions Maintain organised drawing files and version control per project Qualifications and experience Diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, Draftsmanship or related field 2+ years of drafting experience, ideally in interior fitout or construction Strong proficiency in AutoCAD (2D); SketchUp or 3ds Max a plus Ability to read and interpret architectural and interior design drawings accurately Good understanding of joinery detailing, materials and construction methods Fluent in English; Arabic is a plus Skills Drawing accuracy and speed, attention to detail, revision control, coordination across design and site trades, and clear technical communication.
