Due to continued growth, we’re expanding our engineering team and are looking for an experienced and motivated Door Engineer to join us. If you’re a skilled Roller Shutter or Industrial Door Engineer — or have strong transferable experience from a related engineering background — we’d love to hear from you. The Role You’ll be responsible for the installation, servicing, repair, and fault diagnosis of a wide range of industrial doors and access systems, including: Industrial sectional overhead doors Roller shutters doors Fire shutters Folding and sliding doors This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. You’ll work across customer sites nationwide, delivering high standards of workmanship and customer service. What We’re Looking For We’re seeking a competent and experienced engineer with: Minimum 2 year experience as a Roller Shutter/industrial door Engineer Proven experience servicing, maintaining, and troubleshooting industrial doors Diagnostic and fault-finding skills The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a small, supportive team A flexible approach to travel, including occasional short-term stays away from home Willingness to participate in a call-out rota Full UK driving licence The ability to successfully pass security screening and full vetting Desirable (But Not Essential) The following qualifications and certifications would be a strong advantage: DHF IPAF CSCS / ECS FIA City & Guilds or NVQ in a relevant discipline Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office Why Join Tate Security?
