130 000 — 312 000 $Walmart - InternalУдалённо · United States

Position Summary...

What you'll do...

The Distinguished Product Manager will define how the Walmart and Sam’s Club mobile apps help customers shop physical stores and clubs. This role brings together AI shopping and shared funnel experiences to make the app more useful throughout the physical shopping journey, from preparing for a visit to finding, evaluating, purchasing, and getting help with items in store or in club. The role will shape how shared app spaces, including navigation, home, search, discovery, item pages, cart, and checkout, respond to the customer’s physical shopping context and intent. The leader will also define how Sparky and AI capabilities help customers and members accomplish their goals throughout the store and club journey. About the Team The team is focused on making the Walmart and Sam’s Club mobile apps indispensable companions for physical shopping. Working across Product, Design, Engineering, Data Science, and business teams, we bring together shared app experiences, practical shopping utilities, and AI to help customers and members shop with greater confidence and ease. What You’ll Do

  • Define the long-term product vision and strategy for AI-powered mobile shopping experiences that support customers and members before, during, and after a physical store or club visit.
  • Shape how shared funnel spaces, including navigation, home, search, discovery, item pages, cart, and checkout, adapt to the needs of customers shopping in a store or club.
  • Define the in-store and in-club AI shopping strategy in partnership with Sparky and AI Shopping teams, translating customer needs into roadmaps and measurable outcomes across the physical shopping journey.
  • Shape how conversational, multimodal, personalized, and agentic capabilities can understand shopping intent, answer questions, and help customers take action in stores and clubs. Determine where AI adds value and where a simpler interaction better serves the customer.
  • Own the contextual experience strategy and cross-functional roadmap for the physical shopping journey, including opportunities to surface utilities such as item location, navigation, price checks, scanning, and assistance. Partner with shared funnel and AI product owners, who retain ownership of their respective surfaces, capabilities, and delivery.
  • Use customer research, behavioral data, and experimentation to identify friction, prioritize opportunities, and measure impact on app adoption, engagement, repeat usage, and shopping mission success.
  • Work with engineering, design, data science, and privacy partners to shape how location, intent, personalization, and AI inform experiences while respecting customer consent and privacy.
  • Influence senior leaders across Walmart and Sam’s Club to align on experience principles, priorities, success measures, and coordinated roadmaps, and mentor product teams across the organization.

What You’ll Bring

  • Demonstrated product leadership in complex mobile commerce or consumer technology environments, with a track record of shaping strategy and delivering products at scale.
  • Strong understanding of physical shopping journeys and the ways mobile experiences can help customers and members plan, navigate, shop, and check out.
  • Deep understanding of generative AI, multimodal experiences, personalization, reasoning, and agentic systems, with the product judgment to apply these capabilities to meaningful customer needs.
  • Ability to connect customer intent and physical shopping context across shared app surfaces and translate a vision into customer problems, coordinated roadmaps, experiments, and measurable outcomes.
  • Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and lead across teams without direct ownership of every surface, roadmap, or resource.
  • Strong analytical and experimentation skills, using research, behavioral signals, and measurable outcomes to guide decisions.
  • Comfort operating in ambiguity, balancing long-term experience transformation with near-term improvements in customer utility and adoption.
