We are seeking an energetic, results-driven Director of Sales to lead all revenue-generating sales efforts and grow market share across corporate transient, group, catering, and events segments. Compensation · Compensation: Salary will be based on the candidate’s qualifications and relevant experience. Key Responsibilities · Develop and execute the annual sales and marketing plan, including room revenue, catering, and event space goals · Proactively solicit new business across corporate, government, crew, SMERF, and group segments through outside sales calls, prospecting, and networking · Manage RFP season end-to-end and maintain key account relationships · Track performance using STR reports and competitive-set analysis; adjust strategy to grow RevPAR index and market share · Partner with the General Manager and ownership on budgeting, forecasting, and revenue strategy · Represent the hotel at trade shows, community events, and industry functions · Oversee sales systems, CRM discipline, and proposal follow-through Qualifications & Experience · At least 3 years of hotel sales experience, with a proven record of sourcing and closing new business; leadership experience preferred · Select-service or full-service hotel background; experience with Wyndham-branded properties strongly preferred · STS sales software experience required · Must have banquet and catering sales experience · Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills with excellent written and verbal communication · Working knowledge of STR reports, market segmentation, and revenue management concepts · Self-starter who takes ownership of their territory and works directly with ownership · Valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for sales calls Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour Expected hours: 35.0 – 40.0 per week Benefits: - Paid time off Work Location: In person
