- Actively prospect for new business through phone calls, emails, client visits, networking, and market research.
- Build and maintain relationships with corporate accounts, airline and crew accounts, travel managers, meeting planners, and group clients.
- Identify new business opportunities within Flushing, Queens, LaGuardia Airport, and the greater New York City market.
- Manage and grow existing key accounts while continuously identifying new revenue opportunities.
- Respond to RFPs, group inquiries, and negotiated account opportunities in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct hotel site tours, client meetings, presentations, and sales calls.
- Negotiate rates, contracts, and account terms within approved guidelines.
- Work closely with Revenue Management to evaluate pricing, availability, account production, and market opportunities.
- Partner with the General Manager and operations team to ensure client expectations and commitments are properly communicated and delivered.
- Monitor account production, pace, pickup, market trends, and competitor activity.

- Maintain accurate account records, sales activities, and follow-up in the hotel’s sales systems.
- Participate in brand initiatives, sales calls, trade events, networking events, and local business outreach.
- Support and develop the hotel sales team while creating a culture of accountability, follow-up, and continuous growth.
- Oversee, coach, and develop the Sales Coordinator, who will report directly to the Director of Sales.
- Ensure all sales efforts are aligned with the hotel’s budget, revenue strategy, and overall business objectives.
