We're looking for an exceptional Director of Sales to lead our national sales function and help shape the future of housing for older people. Why Join Anchor? As Director of Sales, you'll: Lead one of the sector's most recognised specialist housing sales operations. Influence strategy at Executive and Board level. Deliver a national programme of more than 400 homes, with a significant pipeline of future activity. Make a meaningful difference to the lives of older people every day. The Opportunity Reporting to the Executive Director of Development, you'll lead Anchor's national sales function and provide strategic oversight of the marketing activities that drive customer demand. You'll be responsible for delivering performance across our portfolio of: Anchor Shared Ownership Older Persons Shared Ownership (OPSO) Outright sale homes Working through an experienced leadership team spanning sales operations, marketing, compliance, customer acquisition and market intelligence, you'll drive growth, commercial performance and continuous improvement across the customer journey. Who We're Looking For We're looking for a commercially successful sales leader who understands that exceptional customer outcomes and commercial performance go hand in hand. You may currently be: A Director of Sales within retirement living, later living or housing. A senior leader within a shared ownership or affordable housing sales function. A Head of Sales or Regional Sales Director ready for a larger national leadership role. You'll bring: A track record of delivering outstanding sales performance, developing high-performing teams and achieving results you are proud of. Experience leading teams through changing market conditions. Evidence of delivering commercial results, managing significant budgets and achieving ambitious sales targets. Outstanding leadership and stakeholder management skills. A customer-centric approach that balances commercial delivery with genuine care and understanding. Experience in Shared Ownership, OPSO, retirement living, affordable housing or related sectors would be highly advantageous, alongside knowledge of the regulatory and compliance frameworks that support these products.
