This is not an entry-level sales position. Candidates MUST have proven experience in retail sales, wholesale sales, retail brokerage, or a high-level closing role. We are looking for sales professionals who know how to build relationships, create opportunities, negotiate deals, and CLOSE. For the right producer, this position offers a six-figure commission opportunity in addition to hourly compensation. What You'll Do As a Retail Director, you will work with consumer brands seeking placement and expansion with major U.S. retailers. You will be responsible for driving opportunities from initial buyer conversations through negotiation and close. Your responsibilities will include: Developing and managing relationships with retail buyers Presenting brands and products to retail decision-makers Conducting high-volume outreach and follow-up Identifying and pursuing retail and wholesale opportunities Leading sales presentations and negotiations Managing opportunities through the sales pipeline Overcoming objections and moving stalled opportunities forward Negotiating and closing retail transactions Working directly with TLK Fusion leadership and our client brands Driving measurable revenue and retail placement results REQUIRED EXPERIENCE Applicants MUST have professional experience in at least one of the following: Retail sales Wholesale sales Retail brokerage CPG sales National or key accounts Business development with a proven closing track record High-level B2B sales / closing If you do not have retail, wholesale, or significant professional closing experience, this position is not the right fit. We are looking for closers—not order takers. Our Ideal Candidate You are competitive, persuasive, organized, and comfortable being accountable for results. You know how to get decision-makers on the phone, conduct a strong presentation, follow up consistently, overcome objections, negotiate terms, and ask for the business. Existing relationships with retail buyers are highly desirable but not required if you have a strong, verifiable history of closing. Experience with national retailers, grocery, drug, mass, specialty, beauty, wellness, apparel, electronics, food & beverage, or other consumer-product categories is a major plus. Compensation $35/hour + discretionary bonus This role offers a six-figure bonus opportunity for high performers.
