Role Description
This is a full-time position for a Recruitment Director based in the Philippines.

Professionals with relevant industry connections or agency leadership experience are encouraged to apply.
Key responsibilities
- Define and lead Sherpa's recruitment strategy in the Philippines in line with our growth plans in Europe, including building and leading the local team and owning the budget, cost per hire and deployment targets.
- Lead high-volume recruitment and deployment of blue-collar workers to Europe.
- Oversee the end-to-end deployment process, including job order approval, employer accreditation, trade testing and skills certification, contract and visa processing, Overseas Employment Certificate (OEC) and pre-departure orientation.
- Represent Sherpa with DMW, MWO, TESDA and industry associations, ensure full compliance with Philippine regulations, ethical recruitment standards and Sherpa's zero-fee policy, and report to senior management on performance, risks and market developments.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Philippine overseas recruitment (land-based), including at least 5 years in a director or senior management role, with a proven track record of leading teams and delivering high-volume blue-collar deployments.
- Experience in agency management, business development, partnerships or acquisitions, with budget and P&L responsibility.
- In-depth knowledge of Department of Migrant Workers (DMW, formerly the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration – POEA) rules and the full deployment process, and a strong network among licensed agencies, government offices and industry associations; experience with European markets is a strong advantage.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field; an MBA or master's degree is an advantage.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation and communication skills in English and Filipino, a high level of integrity and discretion, and willingness to travel within the Philippines and to Europe.
