You will oversee the day-to-day operations ensuring efficiency and excellence in all aspects of our legal practice. Responsibilities Design and implement business strategies, plans and procedures Set, monitor, and achieve comprehensive goals for performance and growth Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics Supervise the work of the non-lawyer support staff and vendors Lead recruitment, hiring, staffing, and general human resources operations, including payroll and benefits administration Ensure that the firm’s business systems and processes are fully documented in writing, organized, and being followed Ensure clients and matters move through the workflow pipeline at the right pace Use financial reports to drive operational decisions Manage office facilities and oversee staff who are in charge of office supply inventory Alongside internal IT expert and external IT vendors, monitor the technology infrastructure and the cybersecurity of the firm Continue building a strong firm culture that attracts, develops, and keeps the best talent in our industry Qualifications Education and Experience Non Negotiables: Degree in Business Administration, Business Management, Human Resources, or related field; MBA is a plus At a minimum 5 years of experience as a Chief Operating Officer, VP of Operations, Director of Operations, Professional Firm Administrator with a credentialed professional services firm (medical, legal, or financial); or a division or department of a mid-sized up to 20 million Dollar professional services firm (law firm experience is a plus) You must be able to show evidence of your prior success with the following: Managing a team of at least 30, with autonomy to hire and fire. Designing, monitoring, and reconciling a budget of at least $8 million (this is crucial) Comfortability in, and passion for, a fast-growing environment Advising and decision-making in a senior management role Compensation: commensurate with experience About Ghassemian Law Group We are a boutique law firm in Orange County, California, established in 2010 that has grown over 500% since 2019!
