Director of Operations and Client Care

We're bringing our mission to help people have their best day, every day, to Round Rock and Georgetown, TX as a new, locally owned agency with a special focus on people living with dementia, and the families who love them.

We're looking for the person who will help us turn that mission into the way we work — the caregiver matched well, the daughter who got an immediate call back, the client whose morning went just the way she likes it.

About the role

You'll run day-to-day operations for our Round Rock/Georgetown territory, with the chance to grow in your role as we expand into new territories.

• Assess new clients at home and build service plans with their families
• Recruit, hire, match, supervise and retain caregivers
• Keep schedules covered and families informed
• Perform occasional backup caregiving when no one else can cover
• Contribute to our marketing outreach efforts within the community
• Keep us in compliance with Texas HCSSA rules and FirstLight standards
• Identify opportunities for growth and process improvement
• Foster a supportive and engaging work environment for our caregivers and office staff

Who you are

• You focus on relationships first, acting with integrity, giving joy, staying curious, learning and growing with others, and striving to make a difference every day
• You're comfortable with a fast pace and would rather help shape a business than inherit one

What you bring

• At least 3 years of experience in home care, senior care or healthcare
• Management or supervisory experience in a team-oriented workplace
• Scheduling and staff planning experience
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills with clients, families and staff
• Sound judgment and the ability to prioritize when several things go wrong at once
• Hold a valid driver's license and current auto insurance, and have reliable transportation
• Must meet Texas HCSSA qualifications to serve as Alternate Administrator and supervisor (details provided on request), and pass required background and credit checks
• Proficiency with Google Workspace, scheduling software, and CRM systems
• Nice to haves:
• Familiarity with WellSky, RingCentral, Zoho
• Familiarity with AI tools (e.g. Claude / ChatGPT / Gemini / etc.)
• Experience caring for people living with dementia, or a dementia care credential

What we offer

• $60,000 - $70,000 base salary, depending on experience, plus a performance bonus tied to growth, caregiver retention and client satisfaction

• Location: Based in Round Rock, Mon-Fri, with regular client home visits and shared on-call coverage
