RoadOne IntermodaLogistics is seeking an experienced, hands-on Director of IT Security to lead our cybersecurity initiatives and protect the technology systems that keep our business moving. In this role, you'll oversee enterprise security operations, strengthen cybersecurity practices, manage risks, and help ensure the protection of company networks, applications, and sensitive information across our transportation and logistics operations.

What You'll Do

• Lead Cybersecurity Strategy: Develop and implement security strategies, policies, and programs to protect company systems, networks, and sensitive data.
• Oversee Security Operations: Manage endpoint protection, firewalls, network security, email security, cloud security, and security monitoring systems.
• Identify & Reduce Risks: Conduct security assessments, oversee vulnerability management, and partner with IT teams to address security gaps and implement improvements.
• Manage Incident Response: Lead cybersecurity incident investigations, coordinate response and recovery efforts, and implement measures to prevent future incidents.
• Strengthen Access & Identity Security: Oversee identity and access management, multifactor authentication, privileged access, and secure remote access.
• Protect Enterprise Technology: Evaluate and strengthen security across Microsoft, Azure, enterprise applications, networks, and technology integrations.
• Support Compliance & Audits: Maintain security documentation, support audits, and ensure alignment with industry frameworks such as NIST and CIS Controls.
• Manage Security Partners: Oversee cybersecurity vendors, managed service providers, and third-party security assessments.
• Drive Business Continuity: Partner with IT leadership to support disaster recovery, backup protection, and business continuity planning.
• Build Security Awareness: Lead employee cybersecurity training, phishing awareness initiatives, and security education programs.
• Collaborate with Leadership: Work closely with IT, operations, and business leaders to prioritize security initiatives, manage budgets, and communicate cybersecurity risks.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: Stay current on emerging threats, evaluate new security technologies, and identify opportunities to improve security processes and protections.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• 7+ years of progressive experience in information security or IT, including leadership or security program ownership experience.
• Strong knowledge of enterprise network security, endpoint protection, identity and access management, cloud security, vulnerability management, and incident response.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft enterprise technologies, Azure, and modern cybersecurity tools .
• Familiarity with NIST Cybersecurity Framework, CIS Controls , security assessments, compliance requirements, and audit preparation.
• Experience developing and implementing cybersecurity policies, procedures, and risk management strategies.
• Proven ability to manage security incidents, coordinate remediation efforts, and support business continuity planning.
• Strong leadership, project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical security risks to nontechnical stakeholders.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and make sound decisions in a fast-paced business environment.
• CISSP, CISM, or equivalent security certification preferred.
• Experience in transportation, logistics, warehousing, or a multi-location business environment preferred.
• Experience with Citrix infrastructure preferred.

Pay: $100,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
