Director, Intermediary Key Account Manager

The Role The Intermediary Investment Client Group (IICG), a division of Fidelity Institutional (FI), is seeking a Director - Key Account Manager (KAM) to drive success in our partnership with leading global financial institutions. Our team is responsible for bringing Fidelity's investment products and solution capabilities (mutual funds, ETF's, SMA's, ALT's, CIT's, sub-advisory, liquidity capabilities, and model portfolios) to the largest broker-dealers, RIA's, banks, insurance companies, and DC record keeping platforms across the industry. You will work closely with our Relationship Management team to cover the corporate home office personnel of our clients to strengthen client relationships, expand investment product placement, onboard and implement new opportunities, retain existing assets under management, create distribution opportunities, and establish best in class client experience. The Director - Key Account Manager role is a critical position, focused on fostering high levels of client satisfaction by effectively addressing their needs and collaborating across FI and Fidelity to implement client-focused initiatives and to bring the best of Fidelity to our clients. Core responsibilities of a KAM include: • Work effectively with Relationship Managers to develop and implement firm coverage strategies • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to align and communicate firm strategies effectively • Implement Fidelity's investment products onto client investment platforms seamlessly • Coordinate and deliver firm due diligence questionnaires, RFIs, and custom reporting requirements • Facilitate client interactions with Fidelity Asset Management and Investment Specialists • Arrange FI's participation in firm conferences and help coordinate FI hosted due diligence events • Act as the central day-to-day contact for key home office clients, providing impeccable service • Manage internal resources to promote client opportunity and increase sales engagement (Salesforce, Firm Resource Center, FI Weekly Bulletin, playbooks, account plans) The Expertise and Skills You Bring • Bachelor's Degree • Series 7 and 63 • Passion for the investment management industry and client ownership • 5 years of experience working in the Financial or Investment Management industry Skills Required • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills • Positive attitude and strong work ethic • Self-motivated with a dedication to continuous self-improvement • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and collaborative environment • Highly resourceful, organized, and capable of working independently while prioritizing • Quick learner with ability to adapt to new situations • Client ownership and accountability • Seek continuous development of financial services and investment acumen The Team The Intermediary Investment Client Group (IICG) of Fidelity Institutional (FI), is focused on bringing the best of Fidelity's investment product and solution capabilities, thought leadership, practice management, and portfolio construction tools to the broker-dealer, RIA, bank, and insurance company clients we support. We help them achieve better outcomes for their investors and help them growth their business. Fidelity's Onsite Working Model Fidelity is transitioning to a full-time onsite working model through a phased rollout across regions and roles. Currently, some roles and locations require 100% onsite presence, while others require less. Onsite expectations are likely to evolve as the rollout continues. This transition does not apply to fully remote roles. This role is based in our Smithfield, RI campus site.
