Director of Digital Growth & Engagement
# Director of Digital Growth & Engagement **Miller Value Partners** · Remote · `Remote` 🕒 **Статус:** *Опубликовано: вчера* · *Источник: Indeed* --- ### About the Role ROLE & FIRM Miller Value Partners is a small, entrepreneurial, SEC-registered investment adviser looking for a Director of Digital Growth & Engagement to materially expand our digital audience, distribution, and ability to convert attention into investor interest and inflows. We believe our investment content, research, commentary, and media presence have substantially more value than our current digital reach reflects. This person will own the effort to change that. This is not primarily a traditional communications, brand-management, or social-media role. It is a growth role. The right candidate will think constantly about how to get more people to see, engage with, share, subscribe to, and ultimately act on our content. Because we are a small, remote-first firm, this role offers significant autonomy and direct impact. You will be responsible for building the digital growth engine, developing the strategy and executing it hands-on. Sound judgment and the ability to work within a regulated investment business are essential to success. RESPONSIBILITIES & MEASURES OF SUCCESS Own and execute the firm’s digital growth strategy across X, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, email, search, podcasts, and other relevant platforms. - Grow the audience: Materially increase relevant followers, subscribers, impressions, video views, website traffic, email subscribers, meaningful engagement, qualified leads, and ultimately investment inflows attributable to digital channels where measurable. - Experiment constantly: Develop hypotheses, run A/B tests within approved parameters, measure results, scale what works, and quickly abandon what does not. The operating model should be: baseline → hypothesis → experiment → measure → kill or scale → repeat. - Multiply our content: Turn investment research, interviews, shareholder communications, media appearances, and portfolio commentary into multiple formats across channels while preserving accuracy, context, and required disclosures. - Build the conversion funnel: Improve the path from content → attention → engagement → lead → investor, with increasingly rigorous attribution. - Measure everything: Build dashboards around audience growth and quality, engagement, conversion, acquisition costs, campaign ROI, and business outcomes. Assess contributions to inflows while recognizing attribution limits. - Generate ideas: Continuously propose new campaigns, formats, partnerships, distribution strategies, and channels rather than waiting for direction, incorporating compliance considerations from the outset. - Work effectively within a regulated industry: Partner with the Chief Compliance Officer and fund distributors on required approvals and applicable SEC Marketing Rule, fund-advertising, and FINRA communications requirements. Move quickly and creatively within those requirements; use approved channels, retain required records, and protect confidential information. Success over the first 12-24 months should be visible in a substantially larger relevant digital audience, more minutes spent engaging with our content, dramatically improved distribution of our intellectual property, a growing owned audience, a repeatable lead-generation process, and a measurable contribution to investor interest and inflows where attribution is reliable. WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR We are looking for a high-agency, highly accountable, quantitative growth marketer who takes ownership of outcomes. The strongest candidates will: - Have demonstrated an ability to grow an online audience, brand, media property, product, or business, supported by concrete examples and measurable results. - Have strong instincts for identifying what is interesting and packaging it in a way that earns attention, making complex investment ideas accessible without sensationalizing or oversimplifying them. - Be deeply fluent in platforms such as X, YouTube, LinkedIn, Facebook, and email. - Think in terms of data, experimentation, conversion, and ROI rather than activity for activity’s sake. - Move quickly, test frequently, and prefer learning from real-world results over prolonged debate, while respecting firm approval processes. - Be comfortable operating independently with broad responsibility, limited bureaucracy, and hands on execution. Relevant experience may include organic social growth, digital growth marketing, YouTube strategy, copywriting, SEO, analytics, A/B testing, paid acquisition, conversion optimization, attribution, or marketing automation. Experience in investing, asset management, financial services, or financial media is helpful but not required. We would rather hire an exceptional growth marketer who can learn investing than an investment-industry marketer who has never demonstrated an ability to grow an audience. Experience in a regulated industry and a practical understanding of the SEC Marketing Rule and applicable FINRA advertising and communications rules are strong advantages. Willingness to learn and consistently work within regulatory requirements and firm approval processes is essential.
