Digital Transformation Specialist – GIS & Digital Twins (Emirati)

We are looking for a skilled Digital Transformation Specialist with strong expertise in GIS, Digital Twins, and Spatial Intelligence to join a leading organisation within the infrastructure and development sector in Abu Dhabi.

The successful candidate will play a key role in developing and implementing geospatial solutions, digital-twin capabilities, and spatial analytics to support infrastructure projects, asset management, and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain GIS environments, spatial databases, geospatial data models, and mapping services.
• Develop and implement Digital Twin solutions by integrating BIM models, spatial data, and real-time project and asset information.
• Deliver spatial analytics, 3D visualisations, site analysis, and progress monitoring solutions.
• Integrate GIS and spatial data with enterprise platforms, systems, and APIs.
• Ensure spatial data accuracy, quality, metadata management, and compliance with data governance standards.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify business requirements and deliver effective digital solutions.
• Contribute to technical architecture, system integration, and platform development initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in GIS, Geomatics, Geospatial Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline. Master's degree is an advantage.
• 5–7 years of relevant hands-on experience in GIS and geospatial solution development.
• Proven experience delivering Digital Twin, BIM-GIS integration, or 3D spatial modelling solutions.
• Strong proficiency in Esri ArcGIS (Pro/Enterprise/Online) and/or QGIS.
• Experience with spatial databases such as PostGIS or Oracle Spatial.
• Strong programming skills in Python and SQL, with experience in geospatial libraries and APIs.
• Knowledge of BIM platforms and tools such as Autodesk, Bentley, Cesium, Revit, or Navisworks.
• Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP, or OCI), Git, CI/CD, and Docker.
• Full professional proficiency in both Arabic and English (written and spoken) is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to construction, infrastructure, engineering, or asset management projects.
• Experience with drone surveys, LiDAR, photogrammetry, or reality capture technologies.
• Relevant GIS, cloud, or digital transformation certifications.
