Job Description Responsibilities - Develop and execute comprehensive content and SEO strategies aligned with client objectives and target audiences to enhance search engine rankings. - Optimize high-quality, keyword-rich content for superior organic visibility, including on-page elements like headlines, meta titles, descriptions, and alt tags. - Manage and maintain a content calendar to guarantee consistent and timely content publication. - Cultivate and sustain strong client relationships by understanding their needs and offering strategic guidance. - Collaborate closely with their Director of Digital Strategy and the writing team to ensure content performance goals are met. - Partner with SEO Specialists to recommend and implement technical and strategic site improvements. - Conduct ongoing keyword research, analysis, and integration into content plans. - Perform comprehensive website audits to identify areas for improvement and potential issues. - Establish measurable goals to demonstrate the effectiveness and ROI of marketing initiatives. - Track, analyze, and report on content performance and website metrics to identify trends and optimize strategies. - Maintain clear and efficient communication with cross-functional team members to align on project goals. - Stay current with the latest industry trends and best practices in content marketing and SEO. Requirements - Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field; equivalent professional experience will be considered. - Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in SEO strategy and content marketing. - Familiarity with WordPress or similar content management systems. - Proven, solid understanding of modern SEO techniques and principles. - Hands-on experience with industry-standard tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, and Semrush. - A portfolio demonstrating proven success with previous campaigns and clients. - Experience using project management software to organize content calendars and workflows.
