Role Overview We are looking for a motivated and responsible Digital Engineer with 2–4 years of experience in application support and development. The role will be primarily responsible for L1 support of M&SC digital applications , along with development and enhancement activities. The candidate will also be an active member of the Agile development team, participating in sprints and taking up development tasks assigned through user stories. The ideal candidate should have good troubleshooting and analytical skills, take ownership of application issues, and collaborate effectively with development, DevOps, product, and other cross-functional teams. The candidate should also have an interest in learning and adopting AI tools and cloud technologies to improve productivity and application support/development capabilities. Key Responsibilities · Provide L1 application support for M&SC digital applications, including monitoring, incident handling, initial troubleshooting, and issue resolution. · Analyze application issues, identify root causes where possible, and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution of complex issues. · Monitor application health and proactively identify and escalate potential issues. · Manage and track incidents and service requests within defined timelines. · Support production releases, deployments, and post-deployment validation activities. · Actively participate in Agile/Scrum sprints along with other team members. · Take up and complete development tasks assigned through user stories as part of sprint activities. · Develop, enhance, and maintain web applications based on business requirements. · Fix application defects and implement minor enhancements as part of ongoing application support. · Work closely with Product Owners, developers, DevOps, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and deliver enhancements. · Ensure application performance, security, and responsiveness. · Take ownership and accountability for assigned support and development activities. · Leverage AI-assisted development and productivity tools to improve efficiency. · Continuously learn and adopt new technologies and best practices. Required Skills & Qualifications · 2–4 years of experience in application support and/or software development . · Strong proficiency in .NET Core and C# . · Experience with Angular (version 14 or higher) . · Good knowledge of SQL and database concepts . · Familiarity with Node.js is preferred. · Good understanding of REST APIs and web application architecture . · Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills. · Basic understanding of cloud platforms and cloud-based application environments . · Good understanding of application monitoring, logging, and incident management. · Ability to work in an Agile environment and contribute to sprint-based development activities. Soft Skills · Strong ownership and accountability towards application support and development activities. · Good problem-solving and analytical skills. · Ability to respond effectively to production issues and work under time-sensitive situations. · Good communication and collaboration skills. · Self-driven with a strong willingness to learn and upskill. · Strong team player with a positive attitude. Preferred Skills · Exposure to AI tools such as ChatGPT, GitHub Copilot, Claude, Kiro, or similar AI-assisted development tools . · Exposure to Azure, AWS, or other cloud platforms . · Understanding of CI/CD and DevOps practices . · Exposure to application monitoring and logging tools. · Experience working in an IT/application support environment . · Exposure to modern frontend frameworks and development tools.
