We provide our clients with professional services, specialised aerospace and defence sales, delivery, and operational subject matter expertise. We are looking for personnel to join our team and support key client projects. Who we are supporting The NATO Communication and Information Agency (NCIA) is responsible for providing secure and effective communications and information technology (IT) services to NATO's member countries and its partners. The agency was established in 2012 and is headquartered in Brussels, Belgium. The NCIA provides a wide range of services, including: Cyber Security: The NCIA provides advanced cybersecurity solutions to protect NATO's communication networks and information systems against cyber threats. Command and Control Systems: The NCIA develops and maintains the systems used by NATO's military commanders to plan and execute operations. Satellite Communications: The NCIA provides satellite communications services to enable secure and reliable communications between NATO forces. Electronic Warfare: The NCIA provides electronic warfare services to support NATO's mission to detect, deny, and defeat threats to its communication networks. Information Management: The NCIA manages NATO's information technology infrastructure, including its databases, applications, and servers. Overall, the NCIA plays a critical role in ensuring the security and effectiveness of NATO's communication and information technology capabilities. The program Assistance and Advisory Service (AAS) The NATO Communications and Information Agency (NCI Agency) is NATO's principal C3 capability deliverer and CIS service provider. It provides, maintains and defends the NATO enterprise-wide information technology infrastructure to enable Allies to consult together under Article IV, and, when required, stand together in the face of attack under Article V. To provide these critical services, in the modern evolving dynamic environment the NCI Agency needs to build and maintain high performance-engaged workforce. The NCI Agency workforce strategically consists of three major categorise's: NATO International Civilians (NIC)'s, Military (Mil), and Interim Workforce Consultants (IWC)'s. The IWCs are a critical part of the overall NCI Agency workforce and make up approximately 15 percent of the total workforce. Role ID – 2026-0110 Role Duties and Responsibilities ControlUp Enterprise Monitoring Service: Continuous monitoring of workstation and VDI environments using the ControlUp OnPremises platform Identification and investigation of performance anomalies and threshold breaches Monitoring of system health and user experience indicators including, but not limited to: CPU utilisation and performance anomalies Memory consumption and threshold breaches Disk performance and storage capacity utilisation Login and session performance metrics Application responsiveness and performance User experience scoring metrics Network utilization Network performance for VDI connections Other relevant monitoring capabilities available within the ControlUp OnPremises platform Comparative performance analysis across sites, locations, and user groups to identify performance inconsistencies Identification of optimisation opportunities to improve system stability and user experience Root Cause Analysis reporting and identification of improvement or automation opportunities to prevent recurrence of issues Proactive, Preventive and Predictive Activities Trend analysis to identify recurring or emerging performance issues Preventative remediation actions to reduce operational issues System optimisation activities to improve workstation and VDI performance Recommendations to improve monitoring thresholds, alert configuration, and system performance Development of triggered tasks, where approved, to automatically remediate defined issues without the use of privileged administrative accounts on user devices Troubleshooting and Issue Prevention System performance degradation Application performance issues Network performance anomalies or degradations Workstation configuration anomalies Resource utilisation imbalances VDI session stability issues Root Cause Analysis Investigation of recurring issues or performance degradation Identification of technical or operational root causes Documentation of findings and contributing factors Recommendations for remediation, optimisation, or automation to prevent recurrence Escalation Management Escalate issues to the NDWC team Provide complete diagnostic information including logs, monitoring outputs, and troubleshooting activities performed Provide Root Cause Analysis summary where available Support NDWC investigation where required Essential Skills, Experience and Certifications Academic qualifications: vocational training at a higher level in a relevant discipline, or an equivalent combination of qualifications and experience. At least eight (8) years of extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the service. Proven experience supporting large enterprise workstation environments Subject matter expertise in Windows workstation management and troubleshooting Experience supporting Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) environments Experience using enterprise monitoring tools such as ControlUp or equivalent Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills Experience in issue management and Root Cause Analysis Subject matter expertise with enterprise monitoring platforms such as ControlUp Experience supporting environments with more than 10,000 workstations Desirable Skills, Experience and Certifications Experience with IT service management frameworks such as ITIL Subject matter expertise in automation or scripting to improve operational efficiency Experience supporting multinational enterprise environments Working Location Braine l'Alleud, Belgium Relocation to Brussels or Mons from mid2027 Working Policy On-site Travel Traveling consisting of up to 2 visits per month to NCIA other sites such us ( Netherlands, Germany, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Italy and Norway and once a year to Norfolk) is required Security Clearance Valid National or NATO Secret personal security clearance
