Join us on our journey to reshape the future of private market investing and unlock new opportunities for wealth managers and investors alike. The Role We're looking for an experienced Operational Risk professional to join our Irish AIFM as Designated Person for Operational Risk (PCF-39B). This is a structural, business-wide risk role which spans operational resilience, business continuity and cyber/technology risk. Titanbay operates on modern, tech-enabled infrastructure rather than the legacy, manual processes typical of traditional asset servicing — automation and AI are built into how we work, not bolted on. You'll take on and build upon an operational risk framework that's already in place, working closely with the Designated Person for Fund Risk and senior stakeholders across the business, with real scope to shape how risk management works here rather than replicate how it's always been done elsewhere. What You'll Do - Hold the Designated Person for Operational Risk function (PCF-39B) for Titanbay's Irish AIFM, subject to Central Bank of Ireland approval - Own and evolve the operational risk framework — including the risk register, control testing and risk assessments — building on strong existing foundations rather than starting from scratch - Lead business continuity and disaster recovery planning for the Irish entity, including scenario testing and plan maintenance - Partner closely with Engineering and technology teams on cyber security and technology risk, translating technical risk into the operational risk framework - Build genuine working relationships across Engineering, Operations, Finance and Investor Services — this is a highly cross-functional role that requires getting out from behind the desk - Report on operational risk exposure, incidents and near-misses to senior management, escalating clearly and proactively - Work alongside the Designated Person for Fund Risk to ensure a joined-up view of risk across the AIFM - Keep pace with regulatory developments (including CBI guidance and operational resilience requirements) and translate them into practical improvements - Champion a modern, tech-enabled approach to operational risk — using automation and data to make risk management sharper and faster, rather than defaulting to manual, legacy ways of working What We're Looking For - Strong operational risk experience within a fund management company, ManCo or fund administrator, ideally with direct exposure to a Designated Person for Operational Risk function - Solid understanding of business continuity planning, disaster recovery and cyber/technology risk in a regulated financial services context - A proactive, personable communicator who builds relationships easily and is comfortable operating across the whole business, not just within a risk team - A track record of developing or meaningfully contributing to an operational risk framework, rather than only maintaining one - Around 6-7 years of relevant experience - Prior or current experience supporting or holding a Designated Person / PCF-style designation is an advantage, though not a requirement - Genuine enthusiasm for technology, automation and AI as tools to make risk management better — you see modern tooling as an opportunity and have no interest in doing things a certain way just because that's how they've always been done - Clear ambition and growth trajectory — you want to build and own something and develop with the business, not settle into a static, maintenance-mode risk seat - Comfortable working in a lean, high-growth environment What We Offer - 28 days holiday plus bank holidays (with the option to roll over up to 5 days per year) - Employee share options - Private health insurance - Private dental cover - Life insurance (3x salary) - Flexible salary sacrifice pension - ClassPass health & wellbeing membership - Juno lifestyle allowance - Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) - ParentPromise digital new parent support - Flexible working - Work from anywhere (up to one month per year) - Regular team events, lunches, and days out Our Commitment to Diversity Titanbay does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, colour, religion, age, national origin, marital status, disability, veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, or any other protected status under the law. We are committed to providing equal employment opportunities and benefits to all.
