CHANCELLERY DEPUTY GENERAL MANAGER CAMPUS MANAGEMENT, CHANCELLERY (1016, Jalan Sultan Ismail, 50250 Kuala Lumpur) KEY ROLES : Provide strategic and operational leadership across campus support functions, including Finance, HR, Administration, Facilities, HSE, IT, and Procurement. Translate institutional and commercial strategies into campus operational plans, KPIs, budgets, and service standards. Oversee campus financial management, including budgeting, cost control, forecasting, financial reporting, and resource optimisation. Lead workforce planning, recruitment, staff development, performance management, and employee relations in collaboration with Group Human Capital. Ensure effective campus operations and service delivery to support student experience, enrolment, retention, and overall satisfaction. Oversee campus facilities, infrastructure, maintenance, space utilisation, renovation, and refurbishment to ensure a safe, functional, and conducive environment. Lead HSE, risk management, emergency preparedness, business continuity, and regulatory compliance across the campus. Oversee campus IT operations, systems implementation, data protection, cybersecurity, and digital transformation initiatives. Manage campus procurement, vendor and contract management, ensuring cost-effectiveness, quality, compliance, and timely service delivery. Coordinate campus events, logistics, external visits, and engagement with authorities, regulators, community organisations, and service providers. Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, accreditation requirements, institutional policies, SOPs, and service standards. Coordinate internal and external audits, manage risk mitigation, and ensure timely implementation and closure of audit recommendations. Work closely with Academic, Marketing, Admissions, Student Affairs, and other stakeholders to ensure operational readiness and seamless campus activities. Drive continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and service excellence across all campus functions. REQUIREMENTS : Bachelor’s Degree in any relevant discipline. Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in operations, campus, facilities, or institutional management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership position. Proven experience in managing multiple functions, including Finance, HR, Administration, Facilities, HSE, IT, and Procurement. Strong track record in budget management, operational excellence, service delivery, and commercial or customer-focused operations. Strong knowledge of campus, facilities, and operational management. Proficient in budgeting, cost control, procurement, and contract/vendor management. Good understanding of HSE compliance, risk management, internal controls, and audit requirements. Experience in HR operations, workforce planning, performance management, and employee relations. Strong project, maintenance, and service level management capabilities. Good IT literacy, data analysis, reporting, and familiarity with enterprise systems. Strong strategic thinking, planning, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, communication, and influencing abilities. Customer-focused, adaptable, resilient, and able to work effectively under pressure. High level of integrity, accountability, and ethical conduct. Ability to build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels. Ability to prioritise and manage people, financial, and operational resources effectively. Proactive, responsive, and able to make timely decisions in a dynamic environment.
