Job Summary Deputy Contract and Tender Manager supports the Contract Manager by leading contract administration, managing financial aspects of construction projects, and mitigating project risks to ensure timely and budget-compliant delivery. Responsibilities Develop and implement contract management procedures aligned with company policies to ensure consistent administration Manage subcontract procurement by preparing enquiries, evaluating quotations, negotiating terms, and recommending subcontractors Administer subcontract agreements, pricing change orders, and final settlements with clients, consultants, and subcontractors Monitor contractual records, including correspondences, changes, and status reports, to maintain accurate project documentation Develop and maintain costing and contracts databases for ongoing projects Provide clear guidance on contractual matters to project managers and project staff to support effective decision-making Review and interpret contract conditions, specifications, drawings, bills of quantities, and tender documents to ensure compliance Identify recurrent tender issues, develop solutions, and recognize contract variations impacting project profitability for early resolution Assist in preparing tender write-ups and consolidating submission documents to meet tender deadlines Monitor and ensure timely closure of final accounts for projects to secure financial completion Plan and oversee subcontract awards to prevent delays affecting project schedules Maintain and contribute to the effectiveness of the Integrated Management System (IMS) to support quality and compliance Perform additional duties as assigned by the Contracts and Tender Head of Department and management GUAN HO CONSTRUCTION CO (PTE) LTD Guan Ho began as a building and engineering services provider in 1948.
