Deployment Strategist

Volis · São Paulo, SP

Volis: Transforming chaos into order. At Volis, we are revolutionizing the way companies utilize their data. We are a rapidly growing startup with the mission of unlocking the hidden potential in organizations' data, delivering actionable insights and innovative solutions. We bridge the gap between high-powered software engineering and real-world operational impact. Your journey as a Deployment Strategist: As a Deployment Strategist at Volis, you will play a critical role at the intersection of business, operations, and software delivery. You will own the operational adoption, scope integrity, and contractual health of client engagements—ensuring complex systems transform into measurable operational changes on the ground. Drive high-impact deployment & domain mastery: Quickly achieve deep operational fluency in client operations (network flows, logistics, checkpoints, unit economics) to challenge requirements, guide engineering, and earn credibility from frontline workers to C-level sponsors. Bridge user experience and platform design: Own how the platform meets its users. Translate real worker habits and sequence workarounds into actionable interface requirements, holding the line on true usability over technical completion. Lead adoption & operational change: Define production readiness, manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and run parallel operations to ensure client teams transition seamlessly without reverting to legacy habits. Maintain scope, governance & delivery control: Serve as the authority on scope baselines and milestone plans. Facilitate end-to-end client forums, track dependencies, enforce contractual obligations (MSAs/SoWs), and manage structural trade-offs transparently. Translate complex data visually: Design clear, decision-ready materials—charts, trade-off matrices, and visual workflows—that allow executive sponsors to make immediate, informed choices. Own operational execution: Manage project administration directly, from calendar cadences and trip logs to monitoring infrastructure usage and cost narratives. What we are looking for: Domain adaptability: Ability to rapidly master complex operational concepts (logistics, network flows, unit economics) to a level where you can challenge assumptions and guide development. Product & UX judgment: Strong instinct for user experience—able to differentiate a technically finished feature from an operationally usable one. Consulting & scope management mastery: Firm experience managing project scope, navigating client pushback with tact, and holding a firm line under pressure while preserving key business relationships. Commercial & contractual acumen: Familiarity with managing Statements of Work (SoWs), tracking dependencies, protecting contractual terms, and maintaining cost/usage narratives. Visual & executive communication: Exceptional skill in structuring complex information into clear diagrams, tables, and presentation packs that enable rapid executive decision-making. Disciplined execution & ownership: High autonomy, meticulous record-keeping habits, and a willingness to personally handle operational and administrative logistics. Mobility & client proximity: Availability for frequent travel and hands-on client site visits (currently focused on Chile). Fluency in English: Essential, as you will interact directly with international stakeholders and clients. What we offer: Innovative work environment: Collaborative, remote-first culture with high visibility and direct accountability. Founder experience: Help shape processes, define best practices, and build the deployment playbook in a rapidly scaling data startup. High-stakes client impact: Drive operational transformation for major industry players across real estate, logistics, highway management, and infrastructure. Nice to have skills: Direct exposure to enterprise platforms such as Palantir Foundry or similar operational data platforms. Intermediate Spanish skills to seamlessly communicate during regional client engagements. Experience in operational logistics, parcel flow management, or complex supply chain environments. Prior experience in management consulting or specialized deployment strategist roles.
