Main objective: Working in our busy purchasing & stock office, Reporting to the Purchasing Manager You will be responsible for administering a number of suppliers and products / categories. Maintain product information, price data and stock replenishment levels. Ensure website data is up to date. Issue purchase orders and follow up to ensure successful receipt. Liaise with accounts team to assist with invoicing queries. Knowledge, Education & Experience: Product knowledge of building materials. Education in accounts / purchasing / supply chain an advantage. Experience of purchasing / goods inward / stock control an advantage. Relevant & Suitable IT skills. Personal Strengths: Ability to focus and get through productive work. Assertive when dealing with suppliers Decisive thinker analysing available information. Attention to detail. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Excellent numeracy and data entry skills. Working well in a friendly team.
